Speedy deletion nomination of File:Kayden James Buchanan's Profile Picture.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Kayden James Buchanan's Profile Picture.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Kayden James Buchanan

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kayden James Buchanan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. funplussmart (talk) 19:53, 31 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Lewis Richmon. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. funplussmart (talk) 19:57, 31 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I have read the wiki's terms and i now understand fully that what i did is absolutely NOT allowed. if i get unblocked i plan on helping by editing articles that actually need help. I also want to be a part of Approving AFC Submissions. Thanks, and i am truly sorry for my behavior on this site. Lewis Richmon (talk) 04:46, 1 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I don't believe you are being honest when you say you are an "employee of his media company." Someone with 50 views per post is unlikely to have any employees. OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:29, 3 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • I have some questions. What is your connection, if any, to Kayden James Buchanan? Would you agree to not edit about him if unblocked? What subject areas do you want to edit in? My advice would be to stay away from AFC submission reviews until you can demonstrate that you are aware of what goes into accepting drafts as new articles. 331dot (talk) 07:38, 1 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Also, why did you issue a warning to yourself below? 331dot (talk) 07:38, 1 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Hi 331dot, My connection with Kayden James Buchanan is an employee of his media company. I have talked with him and his team and we have all agreed to not edit about him ever. Subjects that i am most interested in is biographies. I will start reading the terms of editing and what it takes to review AFC submissions. Also the warning on my talk page was just me testing the twinkle gadget and i forgot to remove it. Lewis Richmon (talk) 23:01, 2 April 2019 (UTC)(talk)Reply

Request reason:

Sorry, I worded that wrong. I am a volunteer for his media company that he is just starting. same way as i'm trying to volunteer for Wikipedia. I am not getting paid. I have read the wiki's terms and i now understand fully that what i did is absolutely NOT allowed. if i get unblocked i plan on helping by editing articles that actually need help. I also want to be a part of Approving AFC Submissions. Thanks, and i am truly sorry for my behavior on this site.

Decline reason:

You'll have to explain your connection to User:TES Media and User:Jakob richmon. I share Ohnoitsjamie's doubts. Huon (talk) 00:11, 26 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
