Hi,
I've 2 questions:
- Why do you include the goals scored in PSO's in the ranking table? Not done on the world aquatics website. On that site is a mistake anyway. The ranking table of group 2 is based on a 7-13 instead of 7-12 score in the match China vs Australia.
- You changed the order of the USA scorers into an alphabetical order. The match USA vs China match had the exact same USA goal scorers. I copied it from that match. Should that order be changed too?
Sb008 (talk) 15:39, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Sb008: Yeah, that should be changed aswell. Could have been my mistake. Yeah, you are correct about the PSO, i will fix both. Kante4 (talk) 15:41, 21 April 2023 (UTC)

I am curious how you feel about the use of the 'Chinese' version of names for their players. I am not sure about putting the unnecessary redirects in the article that seems to disguise that the players are not from China. Maybe it doesn't matter, but I would prefer to not use the redirects.18abruce (talk) 14:17, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
- @18abruce: I would go with the article name on wiki or the common name when they don't have an article and then pipe it to the name IIHF gives them? Kante4 (talk) 14:19, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
The article Damir Grgić has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Why not?
Its more of a visual thing to add flagicons next to Riga and Tampere. Its been done like this in previous IIHF world championship edition wikipedia pages. Demrep (talk) 22:56, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Demrep: Yeah it's just decoration, which is not needed. The view is the same for the last years. Kante4 (talk) 07:48, 14 May 2023 (UTC)

- Good idea. The editor in question with the Germany issue was invited multiple times already and has refused. Probably, since I unwisely made it a bit of challenge in the edit summary the first time, they are continuing to 'argue' directly with me. My mistake.18abruce (talk) 11:57, 20 May 2023 (UTC)

Did I Made Any Mistake?
Hello there, I'm a new editor in Wikipedia, I did some change on Antonio Rüdiger and List of Real Madrid CF players, please tell me if I made any mistake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oozora Subaru (talk • contribs) 13:01, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Oozora Subaru: All good on the Rüdiger aricle. The other ones should update all players, not just Rüdiger. Kante4 (talk) 15:56, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
- I'll take care of it on the end of the season. Oozora Subaru (talk) 00:41, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
What's the Difference?
Hey there, sorry for asking you again. Álvaro Odriozola might gonna make his 50 apps match for Real Madrid in 2023–24 season. I want to put his name in List of Real Madrid CF players but it seems he made his debut in 2018–19 season and there's something called "data-sort-value=1/2/3/4" right after the flag icon in there. What's the difference from the numbering? Also sorry if you hardly understand what I meant, I'm not a native English speaker. Oozora Subaru (talk) 00:06, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Oozora Subaru: Don't know to be honest what that is about as i never edit that article but should be something in which way they are sorted but got no clue what exactly. Kante4 (talk) 12:09, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- I see, I'll just gonna give the number 1 since everyone who debuted the same year as him also got number 1. Oozora Subaru (talk) 12:19, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
Query
Dear @Kante4
I was just wondering, do you support the addition of descriptive section titles on article to break up content so that the user can more easily find which section they want to visit?
Warm regards,
From Scientelensia (talk) 17:34, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Scientelensia: Torn on that. A simple 2022–23 season is better for me than some long text i see at other players. Kante4 (talk) 18:32, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- Fair enough. How about short text, such as in this now reverted edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Roberto_Firmino&diff=prev&oldid=1159003189 Scientelensia (talk) 19:20, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Scientelensia: Without it looks cleaner to me but don't care too much. I see you posted on several talk pages. You may just want to ping all editors at the talk page of the relevant article as this is not a good look, imo. Kante4 (talk) 19:23, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- Why isn’t it? I assure you I meant no offence. I am planning to report back to the talk page after people reply with their opinions – thanks for providing yours. Scientelensia (talk) 20:22, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- It would be better to just have it in one place and not ask editors one by one. Easier for everyone. Kante4 (talk) 20:23, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- I guess that you’re eight. In future I will do so. Scientelensia (talk) 20:24, 7 June 2023 (UTC)

Pretty Sure Something's Wrong About This
Hello! I've edited Endrick's page after his apps and goal in Série A, and I've figured something's not right with his page after compared it with his stats in Transfermarkt, I'm not familiar with Brazilian football so I don't know what to do to fix it, can you help me fix his page? Oozora Subaru (talk) 02:30, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Oozora Subaru: Firstly Transfermarkt is not reliable per WP:TRANSFERMARKT. What's the issue you see? I checked soccerway and it looks ok but i am also not familiar with Brazilian football. Kante4 (talk) 14:17, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
- Ah I see, you're right, I've seen his page on soccerway and it's much easier to understand and it was correct. Another questions, is there a minimum age to play in professional football according to rules? We've got Endrick on the age of 16 and Yamal of Barca on the age of 15. Oozora Subaru (talk) 23:41, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Oozora Subaru: Don't know. You can google that or look at FIFA maybe. Kante4 (talk) 14:55, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

Czechia
Can you use Czechia instead of The Czech Republic? Thanks. Msz16ion (talk) 15:26, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Msz16ion: No since the country is still called Czech Republic on wiki. Kante4 (talk) 17:52, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- That's wrong. Czechia should be used as France. Or would you use The French Republic?? And without The is Czech Republic nonsense! Msz16ion (talk) 17:57, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- There were several move discussions and none was accepted, so for me there is no reason to change. You can disagree and that is fine. Kante4 (talk) 18:01, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

EHF Euro Cup
The EHF Euro Cup is held at the same time as the qualification process. But it's not big enough to have its own article. I think it should be in the Qualification article. The EHF talks about both the qualification process and EHF Euro Cup in the same articles. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 19:28, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for contacting me but the revert was not the way it should be. You were bold, i reverted and then we discuss without reverting again. For me, the table/games can go to the main aricle without an extra article each year. Just have the table(s) at the main article for this and the coming years. The games/results have nothing to do with the Q process. Kante4 (talk) 19:32, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
- The EHF Euro Cup is held parallel with the qualification process and, like I said before, the EHF talks about both the qualification process and EHF Euro Cup in the same articles. If you take it away from the Qualification page, people in english-speaking countries will barely know it exists. I know before going on the EHF website more often that I didn't even know this mini tournament existed. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 19:41, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
- I have no problem with linking to it on the Q article and having the results there. And of course they talk about it, they want to make it big. :D Kante4 (talk) 19:42, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
- I understand that but it doesn't need its own article. In my opinion, the perfect place to put it is below the qualification process. Both the Euro Cup and the qualification process are very intertwined with each other. They're both held at the same time, they're both talked about in the same EHF articles and both lead up to the same competition. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 19:51, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
- I agree that it does not need an own article that's why i say, put the tournament into the main EHF Euro Cup article. Kante4 (talk) 19:57, 30 July 2023 (UTC)

Real Madrid Castilla players in the wrong section
Hello, there are some Real Madrid Castilla players (Juanmi Latasa, Pablo Ramón, and Rafa Marín) out on loan and they're listed in the main team's page instead of in the reserve team, aren't they supposed to be listed in the reserve team page since they were primally play in there?
Note update: someone added Marvin Park to the main team's page. Should I move them to the reserve team's page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oozora Subaru (talk • contribs) 14:27, 18 August 2023 (UTC)

Sola HK or Sola Handball
Hi, I just wanted to get your opinion on what Norwegian side Sola's name should be. I write it as Sola Handball because that's what it said on the EHF website, but people keep on changing it to Sola HK. What do you think? ILoveSport2006 (talk) 12:48, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
- @ILoveSport2006: Not sure. Their address is https://sola-hk.no/ but the image says handball but in the menu is "Klubbhåndboka Sola HK". Pretty odd. Kante4 (talk) 13:05, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
- I think I'll put Handball, because that's what the logo says. Thanks for responding to me :). ILoveSport2006 (talk) 13:10, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
- It's Sola HK (HK meaning handball club (håndballklubb in Norwegian), Sola hÅndball (not A, but Å) for short. Even EHF on their European League clubs page says Sola HK https://ehfel.eurohandball.com/women/2023-24/clubs/, which is what their name is and has been for years. Cheers! Chartah (talk) 21:37, 8 September 2023 (UTC)

- The "cheers" was my way of saying "best regards" in a less formal way... Jeez, people overthink written text when they can'y hear what the actual meaning is. Sad really. Best, Chartah (talk) 21:59, 8 September 2023 (UTC)

Thank you!
Thank you for helping out with the honors section. We should keep the honors to medal placements only, right? gold silver, bronze are considered honors as far as I know, not 4th places. Gratz on the basket world cup btw! :) Speun (talk) 18:57, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Speun: There was a discussion at the footy project here and maybe more where i believe the there was consensus for that, but not 100%. Kante4 (talk) 19:22, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- This seems to be in good order of what you reverted with. Germany is also such an accomplished team that 4th place isn't even important to note in any competition. More medals than anybody in the world cup, so fourth places in any big tournament is irrelevant surely. Speun (talk) 20:12, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
Clubs on a Map
On many of my articles for the European club competitions 2023-24 season, I have wanted to put in a Map of Europe to show where every club was based. But every time I try, I am always guessing where to put the dot because there are just so many numbers that it confuses me. Is there an easier way to know what specific numbers are for which city/place etc? Sorry in advance if you don't understand me. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 21:05, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- @ILoveSport2006: Is this what you mean? Kante4 (talk) 22:09, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- Yes and thank you so much. I have finally done the 2023–24 EuroLeague Women map and I will do more later. Thanks for the help. It has made me so happy. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 10:34, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

Hi, why do you want the use {{div col}} for the referee tables? On a small screen the 3 tables are all listed in 1 column. On a big screen the 3 tables are split into 2 columns with in each column 1.5 table. On a huge screen it even become 4 columns with in each column 0.75 table. Use <ctrl>+<-> (and <ctrl>+<+>) to simulate the effect. Either way, it never looks nice. --Sb008 (talk) 11:15, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Sb008: Not a problem on my screen but if you want to change it, i won't oppose. Kante4 (talk) 12:37, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
- You know if the referees Mitrović/Vešović (MNE) were called from the reserve list to replace Braseth/Sundet (NOR)? Those two didn't get any match (yet). --Sb008 (talk) 08:26, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Sb008: No idea. Maybe an injury or did they had a bad game? Kante4 (talk) 16:03, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
- I don't know either. Just saw they didn't referee in any WC match. Assume they're not there at all and that's why the reserve couple was called. Can't find any info at all, no reason why they not there, and no reason why the reserve couple was called. I'm just adding 1+1 and suspect there's a relation. --Sb008 (talk) 16:29, 12 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi, I have a question for you, regarding participation of Greenland at the 2023 World Women's Handball Championship : Should we used another color (for example grey, brown, or another) here and here to inform and to let the readers know that Greenland was ineligible for qualification for the 2024 Olympics, because Greenland don't have a National Olympic Committee (because not recognized, it's part of Denmark) ? Pindrice (talk) 10:21, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Pindrice: Yeah, why not. Would be suitable and correct. Kante4 (talk) 14:59, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
