Hi, the article I created is entirely different from any previous version. I found that the previous version of the article was deleted in 2017 and most of the major events I have mentioned in the article about the artist happened after 2017, his first english movie released in theatre in 2019, his notable movie in malayalam released in 2019 and about his upcoming movies , albums etc major part of it happened after 2017 and I found many relevant news article about the artist published after 2017, so its irrelevant to quote that it is identical to a previous version and I contest the deletion of the article Jehowahyereh (talk) 14:21, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Reply The new article about the artist is more of new content compared to the old deleted stuff as I have included recent events like he getting National Award for his movie which happened after the previous deletion and he has done 2-3 high gross and well acclaimed movies after the previous deletion. The article is not exactly the same and the speedy deletion tag is unwated. Please remove the tag. Thanks Jehowahyereh (talk) 14:00, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Vijay Pravin Maharajan

edit

The article Vijay Pravin Maharajan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Repeatedly CSDed, still effectively a puff piece, almost all of the given sources seem to not be independent, no evidence that this person is actually notable in any way

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Ranjitha Menon. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:44, 10 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Jehowahyereh,
If you object to an article being moved to Draft space, please move it back, do not cut and paste the content on a main space page. This loses the edit history of the original article and is discouraged. It is perfectly okay to object to draftification but please address this with a move rather than a cut & paste job. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:47, 10 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi Liz, the move was disabled. So I had to manually revert the unusual draftification and edit Jehowahyereh (talk) 13:31, 10 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ok sure. As the person who draftied the article first and then tagged the original page for deletion, the move was not working. I will definetly as for help next time. Thanks Jehowahyereh (talk) 13:45, 10 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I have been editing in wikipedia for around 4 years by now and haven't created or edited any page in returns of money. Last month, to be precise User:Akevsharma tagged a page Jayaram Kailas I created for PROD which was previously a soft delete and and admin User:UtherSRG not going with the rule of no prod for soft deleted page and I asked the user:Akevsharma, if you have any concerns you may go for AFD. Later User:Akevsharma messaged me I am not going to AFD now. Later I am finding now that I have be blocked for not any credible reason and of a sudden User:Akevsharma tagged the page Jayaram Kailas for AFD and moved my recently created page Abhilash Pillai_(film_writer) deleted previously by User:UtherSRG to draftspace.I strongly believe Wikipedia is not a place to show any revenge or the editors must not use tactics like this to delete any pages. I am confident enough to give valid point to AFD discussion of Jayaram Kailas if I was not blocked. I strongly believe that this block is of no valid reason as I edit and created pages mainly related to movies , artists , major finance firms etc. One more thing, I created Vijay Pravin Maharajan's page after consulting an admin advise and the page have no problems for months and right now it got problem and I am being blocked. Please unblock me Jehowahyereh (talk) 03:15, 7 March 2023 (UTC)}}Reply
GeneralNotability, I've tried to fix the formatting of this unblock request but have been unsuccessful. I tried to add the unblock request category and was unsuccesful at that as well. Maybe you know what the problem is. Liz Read! Talk! 03:21, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
If I understand correctly, you're accusing that both UtherSRG and I are seeking revenge against you. However, I want to clarify that I am not the one who blocked you. I'm not an admin to block you. You got blocked only after I nominate Jayaram Kalias for AFD. It was an admin who blocked you due to your violation of Wikipedia's guidelines on paid editing. Therefore, it's important that you disclose any articles you were paid to write, and then only the admins will even consider your request for unblock. UtherSRG is one of the most reputed and experienced admin here. You cannot simply come and accuse them for taking revenge. Akevsharma (talk) 03:26, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Reply: What happened is really suspicious. I feel I have the right to mention what happened in the request. I only mentioned what actually happened. I have been in wikipedia for past 4 years and haven't done any paid editing or got any blocks for any unethical editing. Morevoer I have asked an admin advice while creating Vijay Pravin Maharajan's page. I havent accused you or admin UtherSRG but mentioned what happened with the page Jayaram Kailas and your unusual speed for AFD yesterday related to my block. Jehowahyereh (talk) 03:50, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I went through all of the articles that you created and noticed they are having a strong flavour of UPE. There are several deleted and existing articles in question including BitsCrunch, Natalie Plain, Abid Anwar (actor), Deepak Menon etc. These are only a few. If I'm right this is the reason that you got blocked. I only moved your recent creations to draftspace as it's a procedure. And please refrain from making serious allegations against other editors without proper evidence. You can refer to this revision link https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/1138394378, where I have clearly mentioned that I may consider renominating Jayaram Kailas for deletion again. Akevsharma (talk) 03:56, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I would like to ask why you created VijayPravin Maharajan instead of creating it as Vijay Pravin Maharajan. It appears that you have tried gaming. You mentioned consulting an administrator before creating the page; could you provide any evidence of this? I find it interesting that BitsCrunch is a company in which Vijay Pravin Maharajan holds a key position. This is not a coincidence. You have a COI but you haven't declared. That's a violation. Akevsharma (talk) 04:12, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I have created the page Vijay Pravin Maharajan not VijayPravin Maharajan. It might be moved later. You can find my admin consultation in my talk history. I have no COI and there is no point in insisting me to disclose. Moreover let me point out an interesting happening. Jayaram Kailas the page you tagged yesterday for deletion. His first movie page Akkaldhamayile Pennu which won Kerala Critics Film Award and the actress won Kerala State award was also tagged for deletion yesterday even though it having lot of featured news articles and interestingly User:UtherSRG placed the deletion comment stating it lacks GNG. Everything happened on 6th march yesterday. So much coincidence yesterday Jehowahyereh (talk) 04:51, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
So you are accusing that LordVoldemort728, UtherSRG, and I are targeting you? If that's the case, let's leave it at that. I don't wish to argue with you any further on that. Your block occurred almost three hours after Jayaram Kalias was nominated for AFD, so the block is unrelated to the AFD. Next, you haven't provided a clear response to my concerns. I couldn't find any revisions on your talk page that indicate you consulted an admin before creating Vijay Pravin Maharaj. You recreated Vijay Pravin Maharajan which got deleted multiple times due to promotional reasons. It's a clear indication of COI. What's your connection with Vijay Pravin and BitsCrunch? You can answer these questions if you wish to get unblocked. Even if you answer I'm not sure whether the admins will unblock you. Now comes the most suspicious part. You recreated some articles that were previously deleted as problematic. For instance, Abhilash Pillai (film writer) was initially created by a banned user Ameer al safar and you recreated it. Similarly, Takeshidjome, a blocked UPE user created Ranjitha Menon, which you recreated. This is not a coincidence. I just noticed that Rahulphotoshop who only added a photo of Abhilash Pillai to Wikipedia has been blocked for using multiple accounts. I'm curious to know whether they are connected to you, but only GeneralNotability can confirm that. Akevsharma (talk) 06:14, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
User:UthersRG, User:Akevsharma and I am not targeting you. We are following wikipedia's policies. Akevsharma nominated Jayaram Kailas for deletion because he think that he is not notable, UthersRG voted for deleting Jayaram Kailas and Akkaldhamayile Pennu because he also think that this topics are not notable and I nominated Akkaldhamayile Pennu because I also don't think that it is notable. We all are established editors and never argue or target anyone. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐭𝟕𝟐𝟖🧙‍♂️Let's Talk ! 08:44, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Akevsharma, I have recreated many deleted pages when I see enough articles to make the page live and correcting the problems those pages already had. Being a wikipedia editor we are supposed to research and help wikipedia grow and add reliable contents. You accused me of creating VijayPravin Maharajan which is factually incorrect. When you go to the deletion log of the article, you can see I was the first one to create the page. It was on september 2022. It was not any recreation. Later one admin deleted it and further the same admin undeleted it, later someother user named Abugate moved the article to VijayPravin Maharajan on 6th february and the admin Liz who messaged here previously deleted it today. So why did you accuse me of WP:Gamming ??? Jehowahyereh (talk) 08:53, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hi, My account was blocked on 6th March. I have been editing in wikipedia for around past 4 years and have not edited or will not edit taking any amount from anyone. I haven't done that. I am a millionare and editing wiki is my passion and I love to continue to make wikipedia wonderful as it is. I don't know what is the exact reason for my block. From my understanding of the block message its based of COI , As mentioned earlier I have not edited any page in return of money. One user mentioned in my talk page about an account Vijay Pravin Maharajan which I created seems COI, I have consulted admin Jimfleak through my talk page before creating that page. It can be seen in my talk history. Recently I created a page for Abhilash Pillai , a script writer and some user mentioned the one who added photo is also blocked. Abhilash is quite famous in kerala now for being the writer of the highest grossing malayalam movie in 2022. I have many other concerns regarding few editors and one admin which I can raise later. I have been recreating deleted pages solving the problems it had and adding more info into it. I regret if that is the problem or anything else from my end which caused trouble in wiki. I can assure that I will abide with wikipedia rules and guidelines in future . If there is any additional details needed, I am all here to provide. Thank you Jehowahyereh (talk) 04:48, 8 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you

Proposed deletion of Aswin Jose

edit

The article Aswin Jose has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

actor with numerous minor mentions. Fails GNG, BIO and NACTOR. A WP:BEFORE showed nothing that meets SIGCOV addressing the subject directly.
