License tagging for File:Assjack.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Assjack.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:05, 7 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Breaks edit

Please don't use breaks (br's) on genres or anything else on band page's infoboxes like what you did at Chimaira, they are supposed to be seperated as commas, not as stacks • GunMetal Angel 05:50, 13 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Alien edit

Was this snarkiness really necessary? AFAIK you've made only 2 edits to the article, neither of which I've reverted. Both the "and" and the bolding were added by an IP yesterday, and I didn't revert them either. A little good faith would be nice, rather than a snide remark. --IllaZilla (talk) 07:49, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Season of the Witch edit

I suppose I am fine with the change, but bulleted cast lists only exist as a starting point. When the article expands, sometimes the list is converted into prose about the main actors and their roles. Sometimes there is both a list and a prose. The standard bulleted list is just easy for most editors to edit, but at this point, there is not more to say about the other actors and their roles. I personally think it is problematic to show several "fat" bullets that taper off into little bullets. It strikes me as uneven, which is why there was a standard listing then prose about Cage and the other two. Erik (talk | contribs) 22:50, 14 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Human Centipede edit

Hey there. Thanks for helping to develop the article for The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence)! It's cool to see other editors getting on board. I've just come over to your talk page to let you know that there's a small chance that the article for the first film (The Human Centipede (First Sequence)) might be on the main page on Halloween this year! There is currently a discussion going on about this at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/requests and any comments would be really appreciated. I hope you'll find the time to come over and add your thoughts. cya! Coolug (talk) 11:59, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification edit

Hi. In IV: Constitution of Treason, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Bass (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Track listings edit

Hi! I notice you have been splitting off bonus track sections of tracklists. This is completely unnecessary, as the information on these bonus tracks can be contained in the "note" parameter of the track listing template (which is explicitly mentioned on Template:Track listing). If there are several conflicting versions of bonus tracks (such as on Alien (album)), then it can be useful to split them off, but not in the case where there is only one set of bonus tracks. Please check out that template page to learn more about using the track listing template.

Aside from all that, moving these track lists to the template is great, keep up the good work! MrMoustacheMM (talk) 02:31, 9 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

While I don't have a problem with you going to WT:ALBUM to ask about this, at least do me the courtesy of letting me know that you are bringing it up for discussion there, instead of attempting to hide it from me. I have a valid opinion to add to the discussion, and not telling me is acting in bad faith. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 00:03, 10 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Not hiding, I didn't know I was suppose to tell you anything. You clearly found it on your own, so add to the discussion.Hellboy42 (talk) 00:12, 10 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Fine, I'll take your word for it that it was a mistake. In the future, it's always good practice to let others know if you plan on bringing something up for discussion at a page other than the article's talk page, if they are involved in edit disputes. Proposed deletion of Johann Wolfgang Pozoj edit

The article Johann Wolfgang Pozoj has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of meeting WP:BAND.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

What is or isn't vandalism edit

Please take a look at WP:VANDAL--it specifies exactly what does and does not count as vandalism on Wikipedia. The quick summary is that vandalism refers to edits explicitly intended to harm the project, and that is definitely not what the IP is doing on Dark Country. Even if the IP is being "biased" as you say, violating WP:NPOV is explicitly not vandalism. But, having said that, I don't see any pariticular reason why your position on the article is necessarily stronger than the IPs. I do agree that the IP's own personal opinion is irrelevant (I'll make a comment to that on the article talk page), but I am concerned that the number of reviews is excessive, and that critical reception is much too long and has too many direct quotes--we're not here to be an aggregate reviewer. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:58, 20 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I'm just gonna put this out here. edit

I'm not going to keep arguing with you. You're unreasonable, sensitive, and narrow minded, like the average Wikipedia user. The damage has been done, you asshat. Also, we might as well say that every movie has "mixed" reviews since all movies has positive and negative reviews. You don't realize that nothing is equal. Everything has a slant, no matter how slight, and that slant alone has impacted the article via the talk page. Tell me when you see what's really important. You're not worth any of my time now.

And also, if you delete this, it will only prove my point. Really no use to deleting this message anyway, it's on another website where the whole world can see it and frankly a few people have agreed with me on said site. Just do a quick google search of your username and you'll find it. I'm merely relaying this message to you just to let you know about it's existence. Thank you for uploading File:Supernatural Season 2.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Proposed deletion of The Decay edit

The article The Decay has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of The Decay for deletion edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Decay is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Decay until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Nikki311 03:55, 1 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned files from TNA One Night Only edit

I have removed all of the poster art images you have uploaded and included on TNA One Night Only. Such use fails WP:NFCC #8 and WP:NFLISTS. As a result of this action, all images are orphaned. Orphaned non-free images are not permitted on the project, per WP:NFCC #7. These images will therefore be deleted within a week. Please do not restore these images to that article. The affected images are:

If you have questions, please ask. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 19:35, 15 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • I am reverting your against policy restoration of these images. You've given no explanation for these restorations. Though, honestly, none would likely suffice. Read WP:NFLISTS. Understand WP:NFCC. There's no wiggle room on this. If you persist in violating policy, you can expect to be blocked from editing. Your choice. I strongly recommend you discuss this before attempting to restore these images again. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 18:15, 16 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

House of Hardcore edit

This same issue applies to all the poster art on the House of Hardcore article. I have removed those images as well, and marked them as orphaned. Non-free images of living people edit

Per WP:NFCC #1, and Foundation:Resolution:Licensing policy, we do not permit the use of non-free images of living people for the purpose of depiction. Unless a particular photograph has gained notability via secondary sources, a non-free image of a living person is simply not acceptable. As a result of this, I have orphaned and marked as replaceable fair use the following image:

Do NOT restore this image. Doing so is strictly against policy and will likely lead to a block. Again, I encourage you to discuss rather than revert. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 18:28, 16 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

March 2017 edit

Your recent editing history at List of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling personnel shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 02:53, 4 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring, as you did at List of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling personnel. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 03:56, 4 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Survey Invite edit

I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.

Survey Link: http://uchicago.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_80J3UDCpLnKyWTH?Q_DL=3dz0m2ubQw1KSnb_80J3UDCpLnKyWTH_MLRP_bvLcX7XMqNwqQlv&Q_CHL=gl

I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.

Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 19:37, 28 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

The file File:Ghost Rider (soundtrack album) coverart.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free album cover being used in a decorative manner in Ghost Rider (film)#Music. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:59, 22 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
