I joined Wikipedia in April 2006 under a previous account.[*] I've created something like 200 articles (complete lists here & here). My primary interests and areas of contribution are punk rock, emo, and the Alien films. I also do a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff involving WikiProjects, templates, categories, files, etc. I helped advance Alien vs. Predator to FA, and Aliens and Alien Resurrection to GA. I completely rewrote Alien top-to-bottom and was primarily responsible for getting it to GA.

My username comes from an old song by the Vandals. This may be the funniest edit I've ever seen.

Vigorous writing is concise. A sentence should contain no unnecessary words, a paragraph no unnecessary sentences, for the same reason that a drawing should have no unnecessary lines and a machine no unnecessary parts. This requires not that the writer make all his sentences short, or that he avoid all detail and treat his subjects only in outline, but that every word tell. –Strunk, William Jr. (1918). Articles

Here's an abbreviated list of articles I've contributed to in a major capacity, meaning I either created them or pretty much rewrote them completely. Generally if I've worked on an article about a musical artist then I've also worked on all of the album articles associated with that artist, but I won't list all of those.
