Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Melissa M. Skelton, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Metropolitan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

St Paul's Auckland

Hi, I made some edits to St Paul's Church, Auckland yesterday, and a few things have been undone and deleted by an editor. Could you please review them? She's removed the photo of St Paul's GLOW event saying "this doesn't add anything of encyclopaedic value about the church itself". I reverted her doing this in October last year stating: "Reinstated photo to "increase readers' understanding of the article's subject matter" "by directly depicting activities described in the article". 10,000 glow sticks in an arena is a unique visual spectacle best communicated in a documentary photo". I wonder if she thinks a church is limited to a building, not the people/organisation? I also wonder if this is the case with her questioning the sentence: "St Paul’s is the oldest church in the city of Auckland." Our building isn't the oldest, our community is. To add clarity, it could be changed to read: "St Paul’s is the oldest church community in the city of Auckland". She has also removed: "Now occupying its third building," saying it is an "unsourced in lead and not explained/sourced in rest of article". The source is Kate Hannah's 'Where we've come from'. This could be added to that para, rather than relying on it being on the para below. Lastly, she has allowed me to remove a number of old issue templates, but not the conflict of interest one. I've fully disclosed my connection to St Paul's in the Talk, and addressed any issues raised caused months ago. These templates aren't supposed to be a permanent fixture, and should be removed when dealt with. Could you please remove it? E James Bowman (talk) 22:17, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

Hi again, FYI, I've stated my case for the GLOW photo in the article's Talk page, and added the sourced edit to the 'oldest church' part of the article. E James Bowman (talk) 08:10, 26 May 2019 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Angeliki Laiou, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page University of Louisiana (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
