CFB Project edit

Hi, and welcome to the College football Wikiproject! We are a group of editors who love college football and work to improve Wikipedia's coverage of this sport.

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

If you have any ideas you would like to share or if there is any way your fellow college football fans can help you, please feel free to ask on the project talk page.

Userbox edit

Hi, you recently created a "userbox" at Template:User fsu. Since you then erased all text from it, I am assuming you no longer want the template and have deleted it.

If you wish to re-create the userbox, please note that new userboxes should be created in user subpages rather than as templates, as suggested at Wikipedia:German userbox solution. Name the page User:Fsufanizzle/User fsu or something similar; you can then include it in other pages just like a template by using {{User:Fsufanizzle/User fsu}}.

I have included the most recent non-blank revision of Template:User fsu below; you can use this to re-create the userbox in a user subpage.

<div style="float:{{{float|left}}}; border:{{{border-width|1}}}px solid {{{border-color|{{{1|#000}}}}}}; margin:1px;">
{| cellspacing="0" style="width:238px; background:{{{info-background|{{{2|#039}}}}}};"
| style="width:45px; height:45px; background:{{{logo-background|{{{1|#fff}}}}}}; text-align:center; font-size:{{{logo-size|{{{5|12}}}}}}pt; color:{{{logo-color|#000}}};" | '''{{{logo|{{{3|[[Karns.jpg‎]]}}}}}}'''
| style="font-size:{{{info-size|8}}}pt; padding:4pt; line-height:1.25em; color:{{{info-color|#fff}}};" | Karns High School Member

Orphaned fair use image (Image:HVES Hawk.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:HVES Hawk.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Karns.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Karns.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 23:05, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
