Speedy deletion nomination of Cloud Computing Data Security

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Cloud Computing Data Security requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Cloud Computing Data Security moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Cloud Computing Data Security, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. nearlyevil665 16:58, 25 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your drafts

edit

Hi. I have moved your drafts back to your userspace - they are currently at User:Fconteh02/Cloud Computing Shared Security Responsibility Model and User:Fconteh02/Cloud Computing Data Security. Please don't move them back to mainspace until you have made some important improvements to them.

  • The opening sentence of your lead needs to describe the thing your article is about in a succinct fashion. It should start with something like Cloud computing data security is [or "relies of" or "refers to"]... and then go on to give the reader enough information about the topic that if they don't read past the first sentence, they should still have a sense of that the topic is about. The rest of the lead should go on to summarize all the major points of the article, and shouldn't include any information that isn't discussed in more depth in the body of the article.
  • Avoid jargon or promotional language. Don't write things like Enterprises large and small are increasingly adopting.... "Enterprises" is PR jargon - just use a straightforward English term like "companies". Also be specific - what do you mean by "large and small" (these are extremely vague), as is "increasingly" - claims like this need to be backed with reliable sources, and need to include information.
  • Quotes should only be used where either the precise wording is important, or when the quote itself is the subject of commentary. A quote like Cloud computing is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction." is actually unhelpful to readers because it's nothing but a string of marketing jargon.

Please read pages 7-9 of the "Editing Wikipedia" brochure that I have linked here for more information. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:53, 26 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Cloud Computing Shared Security Responsibility Model

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Cloud Computing Shared Security Responsibility Model, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
