Image copyright problem with Image:NationsBacon.jpg.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:NationsBacon.jpg.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 20:07, 1 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

AYBABTU edit

As an occasional editor of the AYBABTU article, I wanted you to know that someone has suggested that the transcript of the opening and closing dialog be deleted. Personally, I think this is ludicrous, but your support is needed to keep the information on Wikipedia. If you are in favor of keeping the text, as it is clearly used under fair use guidelines, please enter a KEEP vote on its AFD page. Thanks! --BRossow 05:22, 27 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: edits to Asperger Syndrome Sorry Electricbassguy, I've observed Aspie symptoms as well but my 'original research' really doesn't work for an encyclopedic article. Nothing personal and certainly no offense intended, but WP:NOT#Wikipedia_is_not_a_publisher_of_original_thought would be the relevant guide. Zedla 09:46, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks I understand that. I feel the current sarcasm piece could use some expansion though, do you know of any research on aspies/sarcasm? Electricbassguy 10:34, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

BTW, I just added a smaller part, just one sentence of imformation, i hope that is okay with you. it's just that aspie people may take extreme offense to friendly comments, related to the sarcasm/banter part already there. Electricbassguy 10:51, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for making the youthink article two days after I made the thread about me already having one totally written out in O.S. Still coming on then eh? Heh.

(p.s. when I say "thanks", I mean "grr, I should be the first author of this article, oh well")

No I had no idea you wrote this out actually. :-P I just wanted another article on my name and wrote a sentence about YT being a poll site. Not coming on anymore. Electricbassguy 04:32, 1 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your Request for adminship edit

Hello! Regarding your RFA, I suggest you to withdraw. You have less than 300 edits, with only 20 or so in the Wikipedia namespace, low edit summary usage and just 12 edits in user talk pages. The answers are weak (that is, you don't really know what you would do with the tools). To prevent a large number of oppose votes, I suggest you to withdraw your nomination and try again in five or six months. This is a good faithed suggestion, and you are able to just dismiss it if you want, but I would hate to see you getting offended by the feedback you may get. In any case, good luck with your Wikipedia contributions! -- ReyBrujo 20:18, 15 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks i wasn't really sure. I was just bored and submitted it... I did the editor review instead. Electricbassguy 20:22, 15 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bianca's Deli & Catering edit

A tag has been placed on Bianca's Deli & Catering, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company or website, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why Bianca's Deli & Catering is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Bianca's Deli & Catering. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. (aeropagitica) 21:27, 15 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Startup.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Startup.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:09, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Electricbassguy! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 940 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:BM2007ratings.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:BM2007ratings.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:45, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
