Disambiguation link notification for January 23 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Queen Jeonghui, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MBC. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:15, 23 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

February 2021 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Princess Hwawan, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If the content was from a reliable source, please make sure to include it in your edit summary. Thanks. Sungodtemple (talk) 15:16, 12 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Question edit

Hi, Greetings Deuxbleu I want to ask you a question. Father of Queen Dong Yi Choe Hyo-won Has he been held in any government position or post? Pls check Korea Wikipedia for me. Thanks VocalIndia (talk) 10:03, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I couldn’t find that he had a government position before and it might be because of his “Cheonmin” status. But it does say that after he died, his maternal grandson King Yeongjo, promoted him to Uijeongbu and Yeonguijeong. Deuxbleu (talk) 15:54, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Amazing! Thanks for your information ! I've added to the article. VocalIndia (talk) 17:35, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sourcing and detail edit

Please be mindful on how much info you choose to add to especially family tree sections per WP:INDISCRIMINATE, and also make sure any information you add is directly tied to a source. I've been removing a good chunk of these family tree sections as they do not abide by Wikipedia's editing standards. For articles on even Western nobility, the family trees are almost never as long and detailed as some of the family trees on Korea-related articles. toobigtokale (talk) 23:24, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, one other request. I'm not sure if this is in any style guidelines, but for footnotes that aren't references, could you use Template:efn instead of a normal ref? This would require the use of Template:Notelist in addition to the normal reflist. The reasoning for this is because it's easy to confuse references with explanatory notes; when an article has few actual references otherwise it's an important distinction. toobigtokale (talk) 21:18, 30 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Romanization for pre-1945 edit

@Deuxbleu, per the Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Korean), we should use McCune–Reischauer romanization now for pre-1945 Koreans instead of Revised Romanization. The naming conventions did recently change last year, so it's understandable if you were unaware of the changes. Thanks. ⁂CountHacker (talk) 09:01, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
