Explanation edit

See, here's the problem re: that image you submitted.

You said it's 'entirely (your) own work'... in that it's your photo of a painting Bass did.

That's not what 'own work' means. It's Bass's work, and the copyright is not yours to release. You can't override his ownership of that image just by copying it (which is effectively what photographing is, see?) and then releasing the rights to your copy thereof.

So that's why it got deleted. Understand now? DS (talk) 15:06, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Biofeedback edit

Ok, will reword that part with minus the emotive voice..

Re your edits on biofeedback.

1. I am not sure that discussion of biofeedback groups on facebook is suitable for the article. Neither is a link to facebook.

2. Your wording regarding "companies operating under the guise of biofeedback" is not neutrally worded. Wikipedia should avoid emotive adjectives like "vulnerable clients". Just present the facts please. For more information please see WP:NPOV.

Thank you, Lesion (talk) 17:10, 20 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

3. Is "and yet overwhelming studies indicate cost savings" supported by the source Evidence-based practice in biofeedback and neurofeedback. This is common behavior but you can see the problems. Lesion (talk) 17:13, 20 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Lesion, I see your points and admit to being an awful wiki writer. However, if there's a way to put a warning for people who may equate biofeedback with the people who are scammers, that would be great. It really is important as the quantum, scio a neednd epfx community bilks the vulnerable and are actually dangerous. There are tons of links demonstrating this online. I just put the first that came up. The owner Bill Nelson fled the U.S and there is even a wiki page if you type quantum biofeedback that comes up discussing it. So that is a public safety issue. Linking to social media somewhere seems important since there are communities of thousands who use it to discuss such issues.. maybe it should go in references, or? As far as the much lower cost of biofeedback as opposed to lifetime of rx treatment, this is an obvious fact. Again, not sure where it should go or the wording.. Thanks for straighten out the wiki style. I noticed there were some other errors on the page listed too.. did you write the page? I'm hardly an experienced wiki writer, it seems like something one needs a phd in to do properly.. Anyway, send me another note here if you need some research to clear up any other issues, and maybe you or someone more familiar w wiki writing can put it in proper wiki jargon. Thanks, dvnr
The newspaper source is fine, just please reword from the previous emotive wording. Just the facts. Re facebook group, I do not think we list facebook groups on other articles about medical procedures or techniques. Lesion (talk) 18:05, 20 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Greetings Davenru. I have reverted a set of your edits to the Biofeedback article. Might I suggest you propose edits on the talk page of the article and get some consensus and perhaps help with phrasing. A few notes; 1) Wikipedia (WP) is not a reference for WP WP:CIRCULAR, 2) The source "Legitimate Devices" does not seem to be published WP:RS WP:OR, 3) "Here is a list of research compiled by the ISNR.org: http://www.isnr.org/resources/comprehensive-bibliography.cfm" is not appropriate for an encyclopedia, each research item should be evaluated and considered for use as a reference for summarized content keeping in mind that for medical claims the standards are particularly high WP:MEDRS, 4)"Another criticism of biofeedback lay in some members of the energy medicine community claiming biofeedback status, and providing treatment for a wide variety of illnesses such as cancer, with no efficacy demonstrated" needs better support than the reference you provided and the phrasing is unclear, what does "claiming biofeedback status" mean?
I did restore your external link. Please don't take offense just trying to be of some help. Please sign your posts with four tildes this will make clear who is talking and when. Best wishes. - - MrBill3 (talk) 07:44, 21 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Mike1901. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Auslogics antivirus— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mike1901 (talk) 21:43, 27 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Darwinisticism verses Darwinism edit

This should be discussed in the Darwin wiki. An important distinction . Davenru (talk) 13:47, 25 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I've declined the speedy and moved it to Draft:Primary affective systems. I've also removed the "main article" template from Jaak Panksepp because there's really no information here yet and it will only frustrate the reader to click through until there's more here.----Fabrictramp | talk to me 23:34, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
