Disambiguation link notification for June 14 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2021–22 Polish Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stal Rzeszów. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Polish hall names edit

Article titles in the English Wikipedia go by common name, like it or not. (I often don't like it.) You can't tell me that by some official renaming (or what) the English name suddenly is not the common name anymore. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:49, 3 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Gerda Arendt: yeah, and for Polish stadiums - the common name goes in Polish (i could write it again, "like it or not" :P). Lets go through the Sports venues in Poland category, including the Football venues in Poland one. Some time ago, Wikipedia community recognized the Polish name of the National Stadium (Stadion Narodowy) as a common name, you can find it in the discussion of entries about the above-mentioned the stadium. CzeCze11 (talk) 19:55, 3 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
I admit that I have no idea about sports. The Centennial Hall serves many more purposes, not only sports, so I'd be surprised if that alone is a reason. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:03, 3 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
ps: For the National Stadium, it looks strange how the lead and infobox don't follow the article title. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:05, 3 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
It was one reason, since I am editing mostly about football in here and made changes by going through sports categories :) but, native names for objects also appear in other languages (e.g. German), although an English translation could be matched - see: Staatsschauspiel Dresden (could be named the State Playhouse Dresden). CzeCze11 (talk) 20:13, 3 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
The Staatschauspiel seems to be common, because it's not covered much in English sources, and the home page offers no English name. The Centennial Hall - my guess - is covered in English sources, and wonder how many will use the Polish name. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:48, 3 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

A question next day: Isn't this Polish name the primary Hala Stulecia (Wrocław), therefore Hala Stulecia would be enough? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:13, 4 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Gerda Arendt: Well, it can be;) although there is a hala Stulecia in Poland (in Sopot), the one in Wrocław is the most famous. ;) CzeCze11 (talk) 10:54, 5 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
That's exactly what I thought, - you can disambiguate the other then. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:13, 5 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

2021–22 III liga moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, 2021–22 III liga, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages edit

Thank you for your recent articles, including János Esterházy Monument, Warsaw, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. For example, WikiProject Poland relies on such templates to generate listings such as Article Alerts, Popular Pages, Quality and Importance Matrix and the Cleanup Listing. Thanks to them, WikiProject members are more easily able to defend your work from deletion, or simply help try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information about using those talk page templates.
