Speedy deletion nomination of List of ASAP USA Cast (Unofficial)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of ASAP USA Cast (Unofficial) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. —C.Fred (talk) 02:30, 16 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from List of ASAP USA Cast (Unofficial), a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 02:33, 16 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Template:English name

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Template:English name, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Eirik Espolin Johnson

I noticed your recent edit to Template:Philippine name does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Fair use images

edit

Fair use images of living people are not allowed on Wikipedia. This is because anyone could walk up to them, take a photo, and release it under a free license. This is in compliance with our fair use policy. Specifically WP:NFCCP #1.

There are further restrictions on fair use images being used just for decorative purposes. This comes into play with your uploads for List of The Lion King characters. The reason that there is one central photo at the top instead of in each section is because of WP:NFCCP #3. Having individual photos violates that part of the fair use policy.

Finally, if you are not going to actively use a specific image in an article please do not upload it. This is especially true for fair use images as their use in an article is required per WP:NFCCP #7. A few of your uploads are not being used.

For these reasons your uploads are currently in the process of being deleted. Please do not upload any more images until you understand our image policy. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to let me know but please stop uploading images. Thank you. --Majora (talk) 03:49, 5 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Greninja in XY125.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Greninja in XY125.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

RFPP requests

edit

I'm noting that I'm declining a lot of the articles you have been bringing to WP:RFPP today. You seem to be reporting any article you encounter where vandalism has occurred. You keep calling them "persistent" vandalism issues, but for many of them, that is not the case. At Kids Wish Network, today was the first day an IP had edited the article since July 2015, AND the edit was in good faith, not vandalism. At MOLLE, today was the first day an IP had edited the article since September 2016. Iguana had not had vandalism since November. Tropical disease had last had vandalism in October.

Please take a look through our policies and guidelines regarding both protection and addressing vandalism. Until you understand these policies, I do not believe you should be reporting pages for protection. For us to have to investigate only to decline in the end for these obvious cases wastes our time. only (talk) 21:23, 24 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Huey, Dewey and Louie in the 2017 reboot.png

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Huey, Dewey and Louie in the 2017 reboot.png.

Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 16 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
