Carri796 (talk) 18:35, 24 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Yes. Our articles on individual pharaohs hold much more information on that pharaoh than the list could possibly hold. Huon (talk) 18:58, 24 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ptolemy Memphitis moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Ptolemy Memphitis, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 21:48, 22 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your edits on the list of pharaohs

edit

Dear Carri796, thank you for your edits on the list of pharaohs. However, I wanted to gently point out that wikipedia itself cannot be used as a citation/reference to justify some fact, as this would promote circular thinking and opens the door to unverified statements. Thus, what should be done is cite the relevant source. For example, your edit pertaining to Nerikare should cite Ryholt's 1997 book on the Second Intermediate Period (cited in the article on Nerikare, so you can essentially copy the reference there and paste it in the list of pharaohs) and not cite the wikipedia article on Nerikare! Note that this article is accessible from the list since Nerikare is wikilinked to the article Nerikare. Please try to update your edits accordingly! I remain at your disposal should you need to help.Iry-Hor (talk) 18:11, 6 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

List of vocaloid songs moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, List of vocaloid songs, does not have enough content and citations as written to remain published. Any time you have to put "This article is not complete!" in large letters, it's probably not ready for mainspace. The article needs more content and citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Speedy deletion nomination of Akikoloid-chan

edit

Hello Carri796,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Akikoloid-chan for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Proposed deletion of Akikoloid-chan

edit

The article Akikoloid-chan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG, no significant coverage in reliable sources

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
