Disambiguation link notification for April 20 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Abhiram Bhadkamkar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gujarati. DYK for His Storyy (web series) edit

On 16 May 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article His Storyy (web series), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the creators of the Indian web series His Storyy changed the ending because of prevailing social discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community in the country? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/His Story (web series). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, His Storyy (web series)), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

July 2021 edit

Hi Canse34! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Boney Kapoor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. defcon5 (talk) 10:43, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

October 2021 edit

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Request reason:

Hi Drmies, I read your message and realized that my account is blocked for indefinite time. I wanted to understand the reasons behind the same. However, if it is related to the Razorpay page that i recently worked on, I would like to tell you that I have spoken to multiple admins about the same and they told me that if I think that the references I have are genuine, I can go ahead with the page. At the same time, I also got no definite answer from any of the admins and I decided to go ahead sibnce my research was fool-proof and I knew that the references I picked were genuine. There was no promotional content or mention of any service that could have been on the promotional front. Being said all that, the page I created is already being deleted. Also, I was well-aware about the history of the page and hence, I did not hurry with the completion of the page and verified my sources twice. In case, you still feel that the action of blocking my page was valid, I would like to mention that the page is already been deleted and it does not make a lot of sense to keep my account blocked for indefinite time. You can check my previous edits and you are sure to find most of them having citations, references, and minor and major edits which are all good-to go. Based on my previous edits and the information I submitted just now, I would like to request the admins to take my side into consideration and unblock my account to help me further contribute to the wikipedia community.

Decline reason:

None of this is relevant. You are blocked for violating WP:SOCK, not for the contents of your edits. Yamla (talk) 10:11, 18 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Ohkay,Yamla. Trying to understand the issue here. The issue at hand does not seem like something I have done. I have not created multiple accounts, nor I have done something to influence or do the edits. I haven't revived any old accounts as this one is my own account. Please elaborate the kind of "socking" you are referring to here, because I have not done anything of such kind on wikipedia that I know of to the best of my knowledge.
