To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your userpage.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Your GA nomination of Borussia Dortmund edit

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Borussia Dortmund you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria.   This process may take up to 7 days. Your GA nomination of Borussia Dortmund edit

August 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Berrely. I noticed that in this edit to Gongoozle, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 18:46, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced edits edit

Hello, I'm Yamla. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020 video game), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Yamla (talk) 18:32, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please use descriptive edit summaries edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that you have made an edit summary, to List of Google Easter eggs that did not appear to be appropriate, civil or otherwise constructive, and it may have been removed. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. I don't appreciate being shouted at in an edit summary, especially when the appropriate action would have been for you to take your dispute to the article talk page, where we could have discussed it. Adding a reference for you claim in the first place would have mitigated the need for all this extra work. Fred Gandt · talk · contribs 15:11, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

To editor Fred Gandt: So sorry about that. My edits get reverted a lot, and it makes me pretty mad. Brotato The Great (talk) 18:28, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
You'll see a link to WP:COOL in the welcome template another editor gave you at the top of this page. There are many helpful links in that template (I helped make it). Keeping a cool head around here is important. Don't take it personally when your edits are challenged. Follow the "Bold, Revert, Discuss" procedure and concentrate on the quality of the content. You corrected misinformation in the page, but as your change was contrary to the references, it constituted "original research" and therefor reversion is only proper. I'm glad the article is improved by our combined efforts, as you should be. I hope the next time our paths cross, the productive result will be less antagonistic and more collaborative :) Fred Gandt · talk · contribs 22:20, 27 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Fotmob moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Fotmob, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
