Prodigy (online game) article deletion
When you deleted the article you could've just helped edit it. That's like two weeks of hard work ruined. Isn't Wikipedia about editing and sharing knowledge? — Preceding unsigned comment added by SoyokoAnis (talk • contribs) 03:43, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
- @SoyokoAnis: Why? The article had already been in draft and had failed notability on multiple occasions, and at the same time you tried to build an article in main namespace. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia of notable subjects, and on that we share knowledge. — billinghurst sDrewth 04:36, 19 January 2021 (UTC)-
- billinghurst (talk · contribs) As I said before you could've helped edit the article instead of deleting it. SoyokoAnis 14:04, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
- @SoyokoAnis: You must not be understanding, please read that link on notability. The community has decided that the subject matter does not meet the notability criteria. As administrator my job is to undertake the consensus of the community, not to listen to your requests to do more editing. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:16, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
- I understand. Apologies for giving you trouble. Could you give me a copy of the deleted article? SoyokoAnis 01:41, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

Vermin Supreme's real name is visible, contrary to an approved OTRS ticket
Hi... I was asked to look at Vermin Supreme by an acquaintance. I've never edited the page before and am uninvolved. I've commented on the talk page, and also raised the issue at Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Vermin_Supreme. I plan to remove the real name where I find it on that page. I am notifying you because you were the admin that reverted the (apparently correct) removals. ++Lar: t/c 16:42, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Lar: Hi mate. Long time, no see, hope all is well. No issue with me. I haven't edit the page either, just stopping the edit wars, return to a status quo and sending them all to help pages to guide them about CoI, and BLP so they can reach a consensus. Might be worth doing a clear "in a nutshell" summary on the talk page with some links to OTRS. — billinghurst sDrewth 20:46, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Billinghurst, the link to OTRS is on top of the talk page and the original discussion is still present. The status quo was changed on 16 December 2020. Regards, AFBorchert (talk) 20:53, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- @AFBorchert:} <facepalm> too neatly tucked into the top and blended in. I pretty much scrolled down through the table of contents, to the end talk which was unclosed and seemingly unresolved. Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 21:05, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks, both of you, I'll be making the change shortly then. ++Lar: t/c 22:03, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- I want to thank all of y'all for helping with this and apologize for being such a noob. Didn't mean to make your life difficult. ChrisRogers4Vermin (talk) 22:10, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
- @ChrisRogers4Vermin: We were all noobs at some stage, and even these days we don't always see all things. Sometimes we deal with things at the face level, and not see or know there is depth to an issue. We all have to keep our eye on the scope, and the purpose and try to tuck away our ego. <shrug> Thanks for working with us, and hope that you can find value in editing outside of the area where you have a CoI. :-) — billinghurst sDrewth 22:32, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Does this still need to be on MediaWiki:Autoblock whitelist? — xaosflux Talk 18:48, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Xaosflux: No idea. I don't OTRS any more, so cannot even see the ticket. — billinghurst sDrewth 01:03, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

.tk protection
Hello, I noticed that you semi-protected .tk for vandalism and was wondering if you would unprotect the article since there is limited editing on the page (The last 20 edits go back to 2017) and the protection is probably not preventing vandalism anymore. Thanks, Terasail[✉] 23:12, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

2022 in association football
Hey there! I noticed you deleted the article 2022 in association football because it was a redirect to the world cup and it was too soon to tell if that was the only competition? Well, I'm planning on making the article and it will NOT be a redirect and through intense research, will find all the competition to be played in 2022. Mohammad (talk) 03:40, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
- Please read the discussion as it was double-barrelled reasoning given. If you are writing an appropriate article in line with the others in the series, then there should not be an issue. Coordinate with Portal:Association football if unsure. — billinghurst sDrewth 03:54, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
- It's going to be designed exactly like the previous year. I'll let you know once I'm finished creating it and you tell me! There's just one issue... A lot of the smaller tournaments (such as Women Youth Matches) are red links. That's because these articles tend to be created a week or two before the tournament starts. Is that okay? Mohammad (talk) 04:26, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
- You don't need to tell me, I am not the hall monitor; I just cleaned up following an AfD. Use the talk pages ato the portal to which I linked or to WP:WikiProject Football. — billinghurst sDrewth 04:40, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

Saw your post
I saw your post on RexxS talk page, and thought I might respond a bit. RexxS hasn't edited for almost 2 months (you can see more info at WP:ARBREX on the likely reasoning.) Your question is beyond my technical abilities, and I'm not sure who would be able to help. There are very few folks around that can fill the gap left by RexxS. Andy Mabbett perhaps? Sorry I can't help - just letting you know. — Ched (talk) 08:49, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- Ugh Ched, this place would bite the head off its siamese chicken pair. Reminds me while I keep away from that part of this place, and just do my ownshit. Thanks, if he doesn't answer, then maybe I will find him at WD or similar. — billinghurst sDrewth 08:55, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- I agree. Far too much Biting the hand that feeds you behavior here. Best of luck in your search. — Ched (talk) 09:22, 19 April 2021 (UTC)

Hello, dear Billinghurst. Could you help me to improve the article in a draftspace? I thought, the sources all was good and the tone was neutral. What should I do now? It would be great if you could help me figure out the problem. --Prodijal son (talk) 15:35, 11 June 2021 (UTC)

How to delete sandbox article?
Hi Billinghurst, I read Wikipedia:Paid editing and it's not a paid article, but yeah I closely know the subject. can you help me to delete it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Raahi Articles (talk • contribs) 23:34, 5 October 2021 (UTC)

Administrators will no longer be autopatrolled
A recently closed Request for Comment (RFC) reached consensus to remove Autopatrolled from the administrator user group. You may, similarly as with Edit Filter Manager, choose to self-assign this permission to yourself. This will be implemented the week of December 13th, but if you wish to self-assign you may do so now. To find out when the change has gone live or if you have any questions please visit the Administrator's Noticeboard. 20:05, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
