Sorry, but copyright issues can give Wikipedia serious legal problems. We cannot accept copyright text, even temporarily while you edit it, unless a proper copyright release has been made as described at Wikipedia:Copyrights#Contributors' rights and obligations.

Moreover, just modifying the copied text is unlikely to be enough to avoid copyright violation - please read Wikipedia:Copy-paste. You can use other web-sites as a source of facts, but not as a source of sentences: you must say it in your own words.

There is good advice on how to write an acceptable article at Wikipedia:Your first article, and other helpful links in the Welcome paragraph above. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 11:23, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Kosovar Sign Language

edit

Could you provide some evidence that this is a language independent from YSL? — kwami (talk) 10:21, 19 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

There is research on that language and it is recognised as such by the Government of Kosovo. --Belfastshane (talk) 11:59, 19 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

That doesn't answer the question. — kwami (talk) 14:10, 19 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Deaf Talkabout

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Deaf Talkabout requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. LivitEh?/What? 01:55, 9 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited St John's Catholic School for the Deaf, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Handsworth and Daughters of Charity (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
