Random person's edits to a page have made it messy and I don't want to mess it up further

edit

I was trying to see what the status was on my request for a page on a for-profit company page here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requested_articles/Business_and_economics/Companies

but my company, HouseTrip, cannot be seen. Checking the edit page, the copy is still there, but for reasons beyond my ken a lot of the copy has gone. If you look at the list around H, I isn't separated anymore and simply follows on.

Not sure how to fix it so I'll try asking for help!

Best, Andrew Matthews

Submitted a request for a company page in February. Is there anything I can do to help with this process?

edit

On http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requested_articles/Business_and_economics/Companies I submitted a request for my company HouseTrip with a few external sources. Is there anything else I can do to help this along? Request submitted 26 February.

Thanks very much, Andrew

Reply to {{Help me}} request: You could always write the article yourself. Here are some things you must keep in mind:
  1. Your company must meet the inclusion criteria
  2. You must remain mindful of our conflict of interest policy (I suggest disclosing the potential conflict on the article's talk page.)
  3. You must write according to our Manual of Style (Including providing a balanced view of the company, including criticism, written from a neutral point of view.)
  4. Avoid puffery, aka peacock terms, and make sure it doesn't read like an advertisement.
  5. And finally be sure to include reliable verifiable third party references.
These criteria are very hard to meet for someone with a close connection to the source, but many people have succeeded. If you decide you want to give it a try, check out this article: Wikipedia:Your first article and get started. Otherwise you will stay in the queue of hundreds of requests and hope someone gets to it someday. You might also visit The Wikipedia Teahouse and try to recruit an editor there to help with the project. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  — 13:19, 29 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
