I would like to appeal the block again. Almost one (1) year has passed and due to the wikt:ridiculous and totally extraneous requirements imposed on us by the Administrator Mr. 331dot, we have still not been able to attain a Wikipedia un-block for our household. Request reason:
331dot, if we were to request an account we would not be able to use it as our home IP address is blocked. :: Addendum I: This is a talk page, but I am making an unblock request and not actually talking (though I suppose I am entering into a conversation with the administrator who chooses to answer this petiton), so I will sign my name (well, my user name), as well as provide the time. 208.44.170.108 (talk) 13:11, 26 August 2020 (UTC) ::: Addendum II: I miss the good old days of surfing around policy pages and obsessively monitoring the recent changes. That is the main thing. I don't care about the talk page privileges and all that mumbo jumbo. :::: Addendum III: On second thought though some sort of arrangement along those lines I reckon it would be a bit hard to implement, so to speak, and get all of those procedures and flags rolling round the bend. Of course I did come here to request some sort of unblock and am willing to enter into discussion and make some sacrifices to achieve that. ::::: Addendum IV: I would also like the Administrator Mr. Gilliam to appear here, or at least roll round, put his hat up, take it down, and get on, if he would like to. I am sure that he is a man of reason and will be persuaded by the case I have made here. Generally most of the Administrators present on this Wikipedia must surely be learned and reasonable men, having attained their most prestigious position. Also, quite a bit of time has passed since last I signed this Unblock Request with four tildes, so I reckon the time has rolled right on round the bend for me to get on and do that again, so here goes: 208.44.170.108 (talk) 13:19, 26 August 2020 (UTC)

As stated above, this is a very valid and legitimate block. I'm also removing talk page access as, to be blunt, this is trying too hard to make us believe you are telling the truth. RickinBaltimore (talk) 13:45, 26 August 2020 (UTC)

- Hello. I've removed the phone number you added, since Wikipedia volunteers don't contact people by phone. This IP address has been repeatedly used to violate Wikipedia policy (it is not always visible but is confirmed by Checkuser evidence). This is only a soft block, meaning accounts can still be used but not created using this IP. However, if the problematic behaviour continues I will not hesitate to block it entirely. Frankly you're lucky I haven't already done that, since it has been used almost exclusively for violating Wikipedia policy. Here's a template summarising the block:
Due to persistent vandalism, anonymous editing from your school, library, or educational institution's IP address may be blocked (disabled). You will continue to have access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address might also be disabled. please unblock 208.44.170.108 (talk) 15:42, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
If account creation is disabled and you are unable to create an account elsewhere, you can request one by following the instructions at Wikipedia:Request an account. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. If editing is required for class projects, please have your instructor or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at the Unblock Ticket Request System with a contact email address that is listed on your school's website. Thank you for your cooperation.

Request reason:
I have chosen to appeal to JIMBO regarding my recent indef block under this IP and Beaneater00 and Leroy08 and AlbanianHernia etcetera. Please refer this unblock request to Jimbo on his talk page. I have no other recourse. I have been CU blocked many times ARBCOM blocked and ARBCOM unblocked and now community/WMF blocked and 2 year blocked on this IP by which time I will have graduated. I swear and maintain everything I did was reasonable. There is a cabal of editors attacking me for my posts on race/IQ and Albanian Irredentism. I was a constructive editor on Simple English Wikipedia at simple:User:Beaneater00 with over 3000 edits. Anti - Vandalism etc. 100 per cent constructive. I was also a constructive editor under Beaneater00 and Table92 for many months before my block and even after I had got it appealed. They blocked me because of my username 'Beaneater' which is apparently a slur against Hispanics. I swear on the name of the Father Son Holy Spirit Jesus Mary and Joseph I never knew of any such thing. I have the good sense and respect for others not to include a racial/ethnic slur in my username. I have no issue with Hispanics. I chose the name because I like to eat beans I am a beaneater. I am not Hispanic though. The original ANI complaint read: "Bean eater" is a widely-known racist slur (see also Beaner). Why on earth is an editor called Beaneater00 not already blocked simply for the name? If one assumes good faith about the choice of name being possibly a reference to simply enjoying eating beans, the name itself will still be offensive to many people. This user is actively engaged in editing far-right US political topics (including arguing about the designation of America First Political Action Conference as White Nationalist), which suggests that they are very much aware of the offensiveness of the name. @Mo Billings: (talk) 23:55, 6 March 2021 (UTC) This is completely false. I was not aware of any slur when I created the account. I believe I received a comment about it already either here or on simplewiki on my talk page and I stated I was not aware of the slur. I consented that AFPAC would be referred to widely described as far-right white supremacist etc while encyclopedia would not itself use these terms -before there was any admin or ANI discussion involved. I did not do it under duress, this is my nature as an editor. There is a cabal arrayed against me because of my differing viewpoints & my username. I don't care about the username, I will change the username to whatever you want. Please just give me a second chance Jimbo. Thank You 208.44.170.108 (talk) 19:31, 31 August 2021 (UTC) Adding text of my original unblock after community ban: I do like this website and it is worth my time. I find it absurd to suggest that I would make 3000 edits around Wikimedia if I did not like doing so. And on your proposal of a community ban, I did not 'game the system', I was specifically advised to seek an unblock from ARBCOM by the user who declined my second UTRS appeal. And User:Tablekitten is not me, his name is the same as my Discord handle but it must be a coincidence. That I was banned from the unofficial Discord chat is not relevant because it has no connection to Wikimedia. And the behavior that caused my ban was arguing with other editors over my additions to Antisemitism, just what could be considered an unsupported synthesis, and they presumed based on what I wanted to add that I was an antisemite. And about the concern over my username, I live in the United States and I have never heard 'beaneater' used as a slur until a complaint was made here on Wikipedia. I chose the username because I like beans. I am not Hispanic, and if it is really an issue, I can change the username. User:Beaneater00/Userboxes/sanity is similar to a userbox displayed by User:Nableezy lamenting the prohibition on pro-Hezbollah userboxes which he has displayed for years. The second user box about Iran is just a political position, I don't see an issue even remotely with that unless any complaints about American-Israeli relations are 'antisemitic' and warrant a ban, which would be ridiculous. I don't push POV, and indeed I did not contest when my edits to the LGBT articles were reverted, mostly because I thought it would attract too much trouble and probably lead to another block. I made my edit to the Sedition Caucus because I was not aware of the ongoing talk page discussion and I did not edit war. I stand by that edit - the wording at that time implied that the Republicans involved considered themselves to be the 'Sedition Caucus'. That is absolutely POV. My edits to Antisemitism were well-sourced, I went out of my way to find reliable sources, and I did not even break WP:3RR. I agree now after my edits were first reverted I should have been less belligerent and began a talk page discussion instead of re-reverting, but it is by no means blockworthy. I think criticism of my edits to War Against Indiscipline is totally ridiculous. It defies belief to say that an American would be biased in favor of one of the several Nigerian military juntas of the 20th century. The article was in a poor state with regard to grammar and phrasing and I fixed it. And my behavior before the original ARBCOM block is not relevant; I edited unconstructively, I was blocked, I went to Simple English Wikipedia as per WP:SO, waited six months with a penitant spirit, and was re-admitted. The edit stating 'This user comes from Israel' was made to point out his biases, claiming that Ayatollah Khomeini had control of the Iranian government at the time of the Iraq War, and not the elected officials and Parliament, is something the Israeli government and media would have you believe, being a mortal enemy of Iran and thus believing that it is undemocratic. I think generally that you have blown things way out of proportion. Beaneater (talk) 09:33, 8 March 2021 (UTC) The original A.N.I. thread was created around midnight UTC WP:Administrators' noticeboard/Incident Archive 1061. I was banned within a record THREE HOURS after the thread was created and over the next few days as thread continued and editors agreed on a Community BAN against my name I never had a chance to respond, there was no dissent from me or from any other editor.

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
