Ways to improve Dolsan edit

Hi, I'm NearEMPTiness. ㅂㄱㅇ, thanks for creating Dolsan!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This article looks good. It is still a bit short to be really meaningful, but it is a good start. Does Dolsan Town have any railway stations, harbours, airports, schools, bridges, industrial companies, which could be mentioned?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. NearEMPTiness (talk) 18:31, 24 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Expressways in Korea edit

A tag has been placed on Expressways in Korea requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. @Robert McClenon: I created an article named Motorways in North Korea. Is that okay now? --ㅂㄱㅇ (talk) (Bieup Giyeok Ieung) 04:48, 30 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Dawnseeker2000 14:20, 30 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Draft:Yulchon-myeon edit

I've draftified this article. The English in it is pretty rough, and significant parts of the article don't appear to be in the English-language at all. I think its probably best to work on making it more readable to the average anglophone, and then move it back to main space. TonyBallioni (talk) 02:34, 23 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Hwajeong-dong edit

Hello ㅂㄱㅇ,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hwajeong-dong for deletion. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an unnecessary disambiguation page.

If you feel that the page shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

"in", not "of" edit

I'm not sure that there's a policy, exactly, but the rule as I have always understood it is that all categories of a particular type should follow similar nomenclature. So if you look at Category:Populated places by country and its subcats, almost all of them, save maybe one or two, use "in" and not "of". Hence the reason for my comment. If you want to change the complete slate of categories it's something I'd suggest taking to WP:CFD. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 14:35, 3 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Translating Bottega Veneta edit

Hi there! I saw you're one of the few editors on Wikipedia who's proficient in both English and Korean, and I was wondering if you could help me proofread and publish a translation of the English Bottega Veneta article on the Korean Wikipedia. I have a paid COI with BV (disclosed on my userpage), but my primary concern is making sure that as much accurate, sourced information is available in Korean as well as English. Would you be willing to take a look?--FacultiesIntact (talk) 17:57, 17 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Addition to the Korean Wikipedia edit

Hi ㅂㄱㅇ, I'm working on translating Bottega Veneta from English into Korean and was wondering if you have time to help me out. I found your username on Wikiproject:Korea and saw that you're fluent in both English and Korean. I have a paid COI regarding Bottega Veneta, but my main concern here is ensuring that the information available in English is available and up to date in Korean as well. I have a translated version of the article on Sandbox. Would you mind reviewing it for accuracy as well as its compliance with Wikipedia guidelines? ㅂㄱㅇ Thank you for your response. I understand the Korean Wikipedia has a Bottega Veneta article but the information is not current. This sandbox contains the information updates. Like I expressed above my main intension is to ensure the information available in English is available and up to date in Korean. Chefmikesf (talk) 23:02, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for responding. If you just copied unverified information from another part of Wikipedia, we have no idea if it is accurate and Wikipedia shouldn't be used as a source without reliable sources in it. If you are able to find some reliable sources, please add them - due to the language barrier, it is unlikely most editors will be able to do this, unfortunately, my own attempts have failed. Proposed deletion of Incheon Bridge (disambiguation) edit

The article Incheon Bridge (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Per WP:2DABS

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
