Zhang XianziXianzi – This singer has always been known as just Xianzi, not many people know her surname. (On zh.wiki it's also Xianzi.) While Xianzi of Han is a notable topic, is there proof that he is ever called just "Xianzi"? If not, then it's a case of WP:PARTIALMATCH. I propose that the singer is primary for Xianzi, with a hatnote for Xianzi of Han. Timmyshin (talk) 13:44, 4 March 2017 (UTC) Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 06:42, 13 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • The instrument is not called "Xianzi" in Chinese. zh:弦子 is about the singer with no hatnote for the instrument. Timmyshin (talk) 21:45, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose - "Xianzi" should be turned into a disambiguation page. It was a very common posthumous title during the Spring and Autumn period. Although Han Xianzi is the only existing English article at the moment, there are a large number of other Xianzi's such as Meng Xianzi, Fan Xianzi, Wei Xianzi, Zhao Xianzi, Zhonghang Xianzi, etc. Most have zh articles. -Zanhe (talk) 18:50, 14 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Not exactly. Posthumous titles such as Xianzi (occasionally translated as Viscount Xian) are often used without the name of the state/clan. -Zanhe (talk) 22:39, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
