Some important things in GFriend 's wikipedia was removed,so it would be better if the members had their own wikipedia pages, because the group is so much popular nowdays, and some even won awards.I havent written so much things in this page, and i will edit it~~Adabella100~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adabella100 (talkcontribs) 14:48, 11 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Not really needed for now, basically everything you wrote is mentioned on GFriend's page already, she is not known for anything outside the group for now, that one song for Korean drama isnt really a "solo career", it should be merged with group's page. And also, if this article stays, it needs to be renamed, "Yuju" were used as a redirect for Yu opera, rename it to Yuju (singer) or Choi Yu-na 86.58.36.235 (talk) 17:19, 11 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Support Merge: If there is any GFriend member that should get her own article, it would be SinB because she does have a few notable projects, and she got a LOT more media attention overall than Yuju in my opinion. Tibbydibby (talk) 18:39, 13 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
You are wrong. Can you give me proof that SinB got a lot more media attention? SinB doesn't have any notable project, not even one. The only thing she is even mentioned for in media is about her similarity with Jessica - ex-member of SNSD. 80.223.122.10 (talk) 20:41, 18 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose merge Yuju is the most famous member in Gfriend and it's not even debatable at this point. First, she's the main vocalist of the group and she got a lot of attention for her stint on King of Mask Singer (she was trending on Naver - the biggest portal site in Korea after her performance). Second, she sings "Spring is gone by chance", the most downloaded drama OST of 2015 and she even got OST of the year award in 2015 Melon Music Award. Third, she's the girl who fell down 7 times in a group's performance at an event and the fancam of the falling went viral and major international news outlets also picked up this story, namely most notably Time [1], Billboard [2], Daily Mail, 7 News (Australia) and many more. Even Tuzyu has an article mostly based on her scandal fame, then why Yuju shouldn't have her own article? If these don't prove notability, I don't know what it is. HOwever, the name of the article should be changed to Yuju because it's her stage name and she's known as Yuju, not Choi Yuna 80.223.122.10 (talk) 20:40, 18 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Comment: It cant be named "Yuju" because that is apparantly also name for some chinese opera (however, if you google "Yuju", 99% of search results will be about singer), so I agree that it should be renamed, I proposed Yuju (singer) earlier if only "Yuju" cannot be used since she is known solely as "Yuju", no one really know her as "Choi Yuna", just like Seohyun does not have Seo Ju-hyun as an article name...about notability, she actually could pass General notability based on that accident, as the video of the accident already has 10 million views and a lot of big sites like billboard, Mirror, Daily Mail, nme.com, Yahoo news, Korea Times, time.com etc. covered that story and Yuju was always personally mentioned / praised, which would make her notable, even if she fails solo musical / acting notability 86.58.36.235 (talk) 21:52, 18 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
Comment Time did not run a news story on the falling indecent. That article is from their online "viral" section of the site and it was simply a repost of a Mashable article that was trending well on that day, because k-pop fans like re-tweeting stories about their artist. Anyways, Mashable is not a news site, and neither is that section of time online, so the article is basically on the same level as buzzfeed's articles and I don't think it can be considered a reliable source for notability.Peachywink (talk) 20:43, 22 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Support MergeShe doesn't have enough solo work to be notable on her own and as for the video of her falling I don't think it's enough to warrant an entire page to talk about her and the incedent. Tzuyu was also up for having her article merged back into Twice's but this was done before the Taiwan election and as the issue grew the majority opinion became that the incedent was too complex to shove into the member section on twice's page. However, as I said before, I do not feel that applies to Yuju's semi-viral video. Peachywink (talk) 15:33, 26 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
