The current redirect is "women writers" redirecting to "women's fiction". Women writers is not the same thing as "women's fiction". "Women's fiction" suggests that the fiction's audience is women, but it is not necessarily written by women. And certainly women writers do not just write "women's fiction. This redirect is not just wrong, it's offensive. --lquilter 13:26, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- I've changed the redirect to "Women's writing in English" which is addressing the top of female writers. It's too limited but is better than "women's fiction" redirect. --lquilter 13:29, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
I am editing the 16th century paragraph to give more information on the woman mentioned, as well as her backstory. I am also adding two new sections. "Black Women Writers in the United States" and "Western American Women Writers" to make the article more inclusive because right now it talks about women very holistically Redbluegreen12 (talk) 17:25, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Redbluegreen12 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Redbluegreen12/Women_writers
