Copied

edit

This article is, almost word for word, a copy(-right infringement?) of the text from the main reference site: http://www.cherokee-nc.com/index.php?page=65. What should be done? Is Wikification in order? What else? It will be a big job. GenQuest (talk) 10:39, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

The material was introduced by User:Sogospelman back in 2006. So it's entirely possible that the cherokee-nc.com website has copied from Wikipedia, rather than the other way round. To find out, we either need to go ask Sogospelman, or else ask the third party website. If it is the third party website that's copied the material, then they should be gently reminded to credit Wikipedia for their use of the text. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 10:58, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
