Uncalled for edits? edit

How come were the references to albums recorded by wild cherry removed? Electrified Funk (1977) and I Love My Music (1978), which both contained the covers, labels and the track listing. This move was especially questionable since 2 of the 3 albums listed in their discography here are "best of"/"as seen on tv" re-issues! Irishgeek 00:21, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Jerry Corbetta edit

[[1]] mentions that Jerry Corbetta played with this band after Sugarloaf. There's no mention of him in this article. Was he a minor player, or not at all? Should one of the two be edited to reflect whichever is the case?Mzmadmike (talk) 14:02, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Wild Cherry.jpg edit

Image:Wild Cherry.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

WikiBio Assessment edit

I have asked this article to be reviewed. There are lots of questions about referencing that I am not aware of. I feel the band is noteworthy and should be included in wiki. But not sure how bands are handled within the wikibiography project. Want a more experienced project person to review. Even I recognize the songs, so do feel that this article should not be deleted. But it sure needs some help. C. Williams (talk) 21:47, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Extreme POV edit

Parts of the article are obviously written by a hard-core fan without any idea of how to write for WP. >>>Write that funky artical fan-boy! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.67.104.4 (talk) 17:13, 16 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect information edit

The article states that one song "was recorded by Ellen Foley (Boys In The Attic) and became a hit in England".

Ellen Foley may have recorded the song but it was not a hit in England. Ellen had no hits (Top 75) in the UK. 22:23, 9 October 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.169.225.220 (talk)

Wil Masisak? edit

What's up with this Wil Masisak - Keyboards, vocals, who supposedly was a member in 1985 (!!)? I guess that should be removed. Seems unplausible.. -- Firefox13 (talk) 11:35, 6 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
