– There are only two articles with this title. One is a featured article of a chart topping single. The other is a stub. The song is the clear primary topic. Tree Critter (talk) 22:26, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: not moved. Consensus to not move to Water Under the Bridge (Adele song) (as per amended nomination) was reflected by stronger policy-based arguments, centered on pageviews, WP:DIFFCAPS indicating a lack of potential confusion with the idiom, and the fact that we do not have an article on the idiom, holding that the previous RM listed above is still the status quo. – The Adele gets the most page views, but by long-term significance not sure there's a PRIMARYTOPIC, especially since there's a fairly common expression listed on WikiLinks that is more significant IMO. Relisting comment: Amendment needs to be done perhaps for the proposed title. I think it would be Water Under the Bridge (Adele song). Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 01:17, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Courtesy ping to @Ortizesp for the above changes. @BarrelProof may then re!vote after the changes. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 01:19, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
No issue here with moving to the Adele song to Water Under the Bridge (Adele song), although I suspect it's the PRIMARY song. Ortizesp (talk) 12:12, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Move to Water Under the Bridge (Adele song) per above. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 06:20, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Relisting comment: Per good faith request on WP:RM/TR. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 10:24, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose (thank you @SafariScribe: for kindly reopening). I think the RM last year, which moved this page in the first place had it spot on. The Adele song is the clear leader amongst topics with this name in page views - [1], with almost 70% of all hits. And I see nothing in the other topics to suggest that a long-term significance angle is relevant here. The 1980s Australian miniseries stub doesn't seem like it's hugely relevant, and the Sam Hunt song is more recent than the Adele one, rendering a WP:RECENTISM angle on that redundant too. Finally, it was suggested above that the idiom water under the bridge might be in the mix too... I would dispute that, given that we don't have an article on that idiom, it's not really an encyclopedic topic, and WP:NOTDICT suggests we shouldn't consider pure dictionary definitions in our thinking. Not to mention there might be a WP:DIFFCAPS consideration with that one, as this article is rendered in title case. All in all, I see no reason to revert the correct move made last year.  — Amakuru (talk) 10:52, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oppose per Amakuru. The idiom wouldn't be in Title Case, and amongst the various pieces of media the Adele song is the clear primary topic (for example, the Sam Hunt song failed to make the Billboard Top 100, whereas the Adele song spent 22 weeks on the chart). --Ahecht (TALK
