– I don't think that a documentary is the primary meaning. To make room for Violeta (disambiguation) to move to Violeta. -- P 1 9 9   19:09, 26 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

*Support. Maybe you could create the disambig page first, before moving an article? Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 19:11, 26 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

I thought of that, but I wanted to avoid the move process... -- P 1 9 9   19:16, 26 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Weak oppose, probably [Neutral] - there's basically only two subjects here Violeta (name) and Violeta a dramatic film (not a documentary) that wom the World Cinema Jury Prize (Dramatic) at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Is there anything that needs to disambiguated? The primary subject is probably "the name Violeta" - but no one is known as just "Violeta" other than the film. Good point - so leave as is with a hatnote pointing to the disambig page. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 12:48, 27 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
Having seen that the biopic is at es:Violeta se fue a los cielos on es.wp, makes it less likely that the film will continuing reference in serious sources under the abbreviated English title "Violeta" so Violeta (film) seems more useful. Noting Anthony Appleyard's comment below that Violeta (disambiguation) created by nominator now has 26 alternatives, but with respect what AndrewA says below "There are several other articles named at the DAB that could claim the name Violeta were it not for the need to disambiguate." is incorrect, look again, the disamb isn't a true disamb it is Violeta (name) with a couple of "see also"s - small but significant difference. Nevertheless, given the es.wp full film name no bad thing to reward nominator's hard work with the requested move and get this off RM backlog, changed to Neutral. You know, if this had been a simple Violeta (name) → move and hadn't been confused by the oddness of the disambiguation page (which is a name page) ... it would have been a simple support as the name is WP:PRIMARY. It would actually make sense to move it and fix the cats as a name article. In ictu oculi (talk) 14:52, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Support such a generic title should have a clear primary use, or be a disambiguation page. -- 65.92.181.190 (talk) 06:23, 28 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
But no other article has that title, or is likely to. If Violeta was so generic, why are the only incoming links to it for the film and not to dozens, if not hundreds of other articles? Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 09:37, 28 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Incoming links is no measure for primary meaning because it could have been categorically cleaned up or edited. -- P 1 9 9   13:00, 29 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. Far too generic and far too little known to be primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:01, 29 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. There are several other articles named at the DAB that could claim the name Violeta were it not for the need to disambiguate. Andrewa (talk) 12:02, 4 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per IIO. No evidence presented that anything listed on the dab page, other than the doco currently at the primary location, is referred to simply as "Violeta" in reliable sources. Jenks24 (talk) 11:00, 11 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Violeta (disambiguation) now has 26 alternatives. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:42, 15 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Yes, but still only 1 thing called "Violeta", Violeta (disambiguation) isn't a disamb page, it needs → Violeta (name) In ictu oculi (talk) 21:50, 15 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. My first thought on hearing/reading the word "Violeta" is that it can be a person's (first) name. 213.246.91.158 (talk) 09:18, 16 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
But no other article is simply titled Violeta. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 10:36, 16 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
So, I'd say the article "Violeta" should first and foremost address that word being a first name for a person, even if that makes the article short and/or mostly pointers to other uses. Apologies if I've misunderstood. 213.246.91.158 (talk) 07:21, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
