Tredegar Park, Newport → Tredegar Park (community) – DAB from Tredegar Park, which is also in Newport and this is probably named after it. I expect that disambiguation is uncontroversial here but I'm less sure on the target. Does Tredegar Park exist as a district as well or just a community and ward? It was originally at Tredegar Park (ward) until Skinsmoke (talk · contribs) moved it in 2009. See Talk:Corfe Castle (village)#Requested move 12 April 2014 for a similar RM. - Why does this need disambiguation? The park article is at Tredegar House Country Park. The redirect should not lead the park but to a disambiguation which might also include Tredegar Park Golf Club. --Gonnym (talk) 15:16, 12 August 2018 (UTC)

- @Necrothesp: What should be done with the title "Tredegar Park" (which redirects to the park also in Newport) and the title "Tredegar Park, Newport"? For the same reason as Windermere, Cumbria (town) we shouldn't have the unqualified name and the disambiguated name having 2 different targets. - Support - the nominator is correct, disambiguation is needed, as "Tredegar Park" primarily refers to the park, and the park is located in Newport. The current title therefore fails WP:PRECISE, and hatnotes aren't appropriate as it is not the primary topic in a WP:TWODABS scenario. — Amakuru (talk) 22:11, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

- @BD2412: "Tredegar Park" appears to be an alternative name for the park its self, the administrative division is a subtopic of the park, the park article should probably be a WP:DABCONCEPT article for the community. As pointed out by Amakuru the park its self might actually be "Tredegar Park" with "Tredegar House Country Park" just being part of it. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:00, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

- The location of the park article is a different discussion, but the point of alternative names remains that "Tredegar Park" is a name for the park. If it was desired to move the park to "Tredegar Park" the we would also have to debate where this should go again. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:42, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
