Geography

The geographical regions throughout the timeline are China, Europe, North America, and Elsewhere. And the last time I checked, neither Brazil nor Guatemala were in North America. And the WHO itself has six regions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Health_Organization#/media/File:World_Health_Organisation_regional_offices.svg

So, should we use it, the six continent model, the seven continent model, or what?

It's been sorted into the WHO's Six Continent model. Probably no good reason to retrofit the previous monthly timelines from the PHEIC onwards, but I think this shift beginning in April is salient. kencf0618 (talk) 11:20, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Capitalization of "COVID"/"Covid"?

Greetings and felicitations. "COVID" or "Covid"? Ignoring the use in references, "Covid" seems to be the more used, but "COVID" is what is used for the Wikipedia article (and as an acronym is supported by the MOS, as well as being my personal preference). Next month

For May, should we create two articles looking at the timeline of the epidemic and the responses: Timeline of the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic in May 2020 and Responses to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic in May 2020? For the responses section, we could divide into the WHO's six global regions: Africa, the Americas, Europe, Eastern Mediterranean, South-East Asia, and the Western Pacific. Having two articles would ensure that it doesn't become too long. It will also make sense to follow the WHO global regions as well. Andykatib 07:22, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
