Jane Roberts

Spirit medium Jane Roberts has a cameo role as the grandmother, and was likely cast as a nod to the similarity between the story's plot and her ideas about dreams.

Agreed, according to IMDB this Jane Roberts also appeared in:

Draftsman?

This article states that George Orr was a draftsman. While he may have been in the original book, I don't think his profession is mentioned at any point in this adaptation. Jmdeur (talk) 22:37, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

correct, i just watched it, no mention of his job beyond his working in an office. I have rewritten the summary, but unfortunately i could not make out the Aliens philosophising, (dubbed copy) so i have left it out. Why is oneirologist in quotes?

Why is "oneirologist" in quotes in the Plot section? It appears to be a legitimately recognized word.

Hey @TheBaron0530:, I removed the quotes: the original authors of the plot section appear to have a healthy amount of skepticism about that kind of interpretation of dreams. Keep asking questions, but small edits like this tend are usually uncontroversial, so you should feel free to Be bold!!! and make the tweak edits, Sadads (talk) 04:58, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
