Understood. I was perhaps clumsy, but I'd like to recommend a modification to your translation of "Jägermeister". Yes, absolutely literally, the components that make up the word translate to "hunt master". However, a better way of expressing that translation in English is "master of the hunt". We don't say, "hunt master", in English, we say "master of the hunt". It's similar to translating other German words into English. For example, we wouldn't translate "Fernsehen" to "far seeing", we translate it to "television". I speak, read and write German, as well as English (das ist die Muttersprache von mir), so I can offer that insight. "Muttersprache" is another example of what I mean--we would not translate it literally according to its components, which would be "mother speech". We say, "mother tongue". "Fahrrad" is not "ride wheel", it's "bicycle", "Schubladen" isn't "shove load", it's "drawer", "Vorort" isn't "fore place", it's "suburb", and so on, and so on.
