The text in this article appears to have been taken from http://www.scotchwhisky.com/english/about/blended/famousgrouse.htm

I rewrote the page and used that website as a reference, just to keep things on the up and up :) --Fxer 17:43, 13 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Bottle redesign

edit

I believe the bottle shape was changed somewhere in 2004. Could we get some pictures of the old and new design, respectively? 85.72.173.16 23:45, 9 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Percent of single malts?

edit

Does anyone know what percentage of the blend is comprised of the single malts? That would be a great bit if info to include, if we have a source.--Skylights76 (talk) 18:38, 13 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately, no. Moitraanak (talk) 15:17, 24 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on The Famous Grouse. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Incomplete References and Other Errors

edit
  • The reference to Christmas sales (3) is now a dead URL and unverifiable. Ref 11, certainly valid for the period 2012-13, may not be applicable here. These refs could be tried: [1]

[2] [3]Moitraanak (talk) 13:39, 4 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • A preview of the references in the History section elicits a flag: Cite warning: Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page). It talks about one of 75+ brands comprising more than 180 expressions. [4]

The article needs substantial remodelling to include relevant data. Charles Maclean's 2015 Coffee Table book is a great basis.[5]
