"Ultimately, when coach Jeff Van Gundy sought to make Yao the focus of the Rockets' offensive attack, Francis became disgruntled, leading to the end of his tenure with the club."

Not true. The reason for his departure was because Tracy McGrady demanded a trade from the Orlando Magic and Houston was one of his preffered destinations. Unlike Francis, McGrady was and still is in the upper echelon of swingmen in the NBA. The only assets that the rockets had for a trade apart from Yao Ming(considered one of the most untradeable players in the NBA) were Cuttino Mobley and Steve Francis. Hence, the reason for the trade. In fact, after over a month of rumors regarding the trade, Francis continued to state publicly that he did not want to be traded. However, he had no leverage in trade negotiations.

"In the days leading up to his trade in 2004, he made it clear he didn't want to leave Houston. The success he found in his time with the Rockets has proven elusive in his subsequent stops."

Whoever made this page forgot to mention a few things

Meniere's disease edit

The comment should describe the primary effects of the disease such as tinnitus or vertigo. People who have this disease have higher percentages of migraines, which is true, but so does about 87 other conditions and diseases. Describing what the disease is would just be a more healthy option than the open ended comment which can cause a hypochondriac to assume Meniere's. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Timmyfitz161 (talkcontribs) 04:35, 5 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Drug addiction edit

Whoever is working on this article, could we address the fact that he is suffering from severe drug abuse. Steve Francis 10 years ago looks completely different than 2016 Steve Francis. Thank you. Savvyjack23 (talk) 18:14, 2 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
