... that ballerina and répétiteurSara Leland watched choreographer George Balanchine in rehearsals closely in order to accurately stage his works? Source: "Her own mentors have been the two great names of the New York City Ballet: George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins. 'I'm watching Mr. Balanchine as much and as closely as possible these days,' she says. 'I treasure every minute of every rehearsal that he conducts. I'm trying to learn his ballets so accurately that I will never forget them and can stage them in the future exactly as he intended.'" ([1])
ALT1:... that ballerina and répétiteurSara Leland was able to stage over 30 ballets due to her ability to accurately remember the choreography? Source: "Some of Miss Leland's fellow dancers term her a 'memory bank' because of her ability not only to retain and teach steps, but to remember parts and communicate the entire feeling of over 30 ballets." New enough, long enough and no obvious copvios. An interesting and well written article. I prefer ALT1 for the hook. Put that hook in the lead and it’s GTG. Jack1956 (talk) 20:18, 13 December 2020 (UTC) :*Reply
