Date of Death edit

Where does the death date of April 8, 2020 come from? Neither the obituary from Rekindle school nor the article from PCGamer ever states such a date. All tributes and citations are as early as April 13, the same day the article was published. Deady3728 (talk) 22:04, 14 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Deady3728: The Rekindle orbit was published on April 8 as shown in the page's metadata (see code block below). Right now the page is blocked by Wordfence, a deliberate action by the site admin (I thinker with WordPress, so I am familiar with WordFence's plugin options) probably due to high traffic. However, the page can still be viewed in Google Cache.

I am pasting the metadata here because the page is not easily accessible at the moment. Unless there are structure/infra changes to the site, the metadata should hold when the site recovers.
Other news sites only picked up on this on the 13th, hence probably that's why people are mistakenly putting his date of death as such. robertsky (talk) 03:43, 15 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
To view the Google cache version: in google.com, search for the URL https://www.classesandworkshops.com/in-memory-of-rick-may/. In the search results, there should be a down arrow next to the title of the page. Click on it and click on the 'Cached' option. robertsky (talk) 03:48, 15 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Modern tribute to May in-game edit

Now, in Team Fortress 2, it's considered a sign of disrespect to use the taunts in which the character laughs when in front of these statues, which often leads to said player being killed or kicked from the server. Is this worth mentioning on the article? Mrman19 (talk) 18:06, 11 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
