Brought to tears edit

Was the child actually "brought to tears"? I see no evidence of this in any of the major news stories about the event - rather, they all seem to say she ignored Riordan's remark and restated her view that her name meant "goddess". In any case, Riordan said that the "hero of all this is Isis herself" - that she didn't take it too seriously, knew he was teasing her. Request to remove "brought to tears" from the writeup. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.52.57.34 (talkcontribs) 15:20, 13 July 2004 (UTC).Reply

RINO edit

According to Wikipedia's page on RINOs, the pejorative term RINO(Republican in name only)was popularized by a critique of Richard Riordan. Should that be mentioned in Riordan's article? Thank you

Hispanic? edit

Is Riordan really Hispanic? I can't find a reference to support that. Willmcw 04:20, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Photo edit

I've noticed that other photos of Riordan have been deleted before. This one is the OFFICIAL Los Angeles City photo dated 1993. It is automatically released into the public domain upon publication. Jkfp2004 (talk) 06:22, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
