How do you edit the list of references? Reference 3 is for the Ladgrove Grove crash – should read 'Ladbroke'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.188.130.2 (talk) 17:15, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

" it has been owned by non-profit organisation Network Rail. " -- AFAIK, that's the network that is now owned. Railtrack plc is now in liquidation. -- Tarquin

I wasn't sure on this issue, but I got the idea that Railtrack plc was sold to Network Rail and absorbed by it, while RT Group plc (ex Railtrack Group plc) is in liquidation. I'm open to better info, though. --rbrwr
This is the case. One point -- the article keeps saying Railtrack was put in liquidation, this was never true until RT Group plc was put in Members Liquidation in December 2002 - Railtrack plc was in "Railway Administration", which is a completely different legal animal. Thanks for setting the record straight, Arwel. --rbrwr

Oh, and just to complicate things that little bit more, Railtrack plc has now (since February 3) apparently become Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. [1] --rbrwr

Fair use rationale for Image:Rtgroup.gif edit

Image:Rtgroup.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Fate of Railtrack edit

The fate of Railtrack was decided by the government in 2001, when it refused to put anymore money into the company after as series of accidents as well as a failure to meet project deadlines. user:Pdiddyjr has added a line to the Fate section which a) does not need to be there b) appears to be in breech of Wikipedia:Neutral point of view c) has no source to attached to the edit to verify his claim in the edit comments I have therefore removed his edit.
