Christian musician category edit

Someone has removed Category:Christian musicians from this article several times. Could you please explain why? I think that Plumb is a very clear example of a Christian musician. —Cswrye 14:23, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

She is undoubtedly a Christian musician, and she is part of the CCM WikiProject. Please restore it. Royalbroil Talk  Contrib 06:11, 4 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Contemporary Christian artist edit

An anon keeps coming here and removing cited comments that she is a Contemporary Christian Music artist. Please explain why she is not. Royalbroil T : C 13:24, 25 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Objectivity edit

Most of this article reads like an advertisement for the artist, hardly NPOV. Kbomb 05:35, 16 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Plumblogo.png edit

Image:Plumblogo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:37, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Band or Solo Artist? edit

Can someone please explain why Plumb is listed as a solo artist? I always thought Plumb was a band.

Thank you!

Allen 00:38, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

Plumb was always a single person but was billed as a band early in her career. It's really a solo artist. Unlike Owl City, she still uses the stage name Plumb for her other work. Royalbroil 03:31, 14 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Plumb is Tiffany Lee (née Arbuckle). She has a band that plays with her so she's not a solo artist, but the musicians are always different so.... --Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:27, 14 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

New Plumb Album edit

While the edit wasn't made from a book or journal, the information was posted on the artists Twitter and Facebook pages as a verified change desired by the artist. Is there some other way that this should be cited? Thanks. ShadowHawkX7 (talk) 20:32, 20 December 2012 (UTC) ShadowHawkX7 12/20/2012Reply

That was left on my talk page in response to this edit. The URL that should have been provided is this and it links back to this Arbuckle tweet.
I believe that it's a reaction from Arbuckle Lee to the shooting that may not have label approval. We should wait to see if the title is officially changed rather than take it upon ourselves to make the change only to change it again in a few weeks. That is why primary sources are not as desirable as secondary sources. We should wait for an official announcement from the label. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:18, 20 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
I mistakenly edited this for the same reason and someone rightly immediately put it back -- we should wait on label confirmation. Instead, I added a paragraph under solo career noting her statement on the title and desired new title, and I linked it to the Facebook permalink. I should think that would be sufficient for now, and even if the label doesn't agree to the change, should make her intentions known in light of what will certainly be some consternation here in the States over the title. --User:RichardTallent —Preceding undated comment added 08:40, 21 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
I was the one who reverted and I "fixed" your paragraph, which was a great idea.--Walter Görlitz (talk) 08:46, 21 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Trance tune of the year edit

Plumb's collaboration with Aly & Fila "Somebody Loves You" was voted tune of the year in 2020 in the largest Trance radio show, A State of Trance. Her single "I love you" charted the previous year on the same contest. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.187.152.194 (talk) 18:06, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

If a secondary (and reliable) source were supplied to support this as being notable, we should write about it, but single-source awards are not usually notable. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:56, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
