Michael brown donation edit

A crucial fundraising dinner, which led to the largest part of donation process, was hosted in Harrogate, on Feb 2015. This is referenced in the autobiography of Charles Kennedy, by Greg hurst, pages 207-8 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Libraryloser (talkcontribs) 13:01, 24 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Phil WillisPhil Willis, Baron Willis of Knaresborough – Undiscussed move. ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 19:35, 3 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

This is a contested technical request (permalink). 2pou (talk) 19:55, 3 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Neveselbert: Queried move reuest.
Note regarding opening of discussion: The undiscussed move has been stable since 2015, and it was carried out per a technical request made here. -2pou (talk) 20:00, 3 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I think that the current title contradicts WP:NCPEER. This person is probably better known by his title, Lord Willis of Knaresborough. ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 20:05, 3 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose There's no question which name is WP:COMMONNAME and it's not Baron Willis[1] (Lord Willis usually refers to a different guy). The bulk of coverage of Willis came while he was in substantive roles before his elevation to the mostly symbolic House of Lords. WP:NCPEER does not overrule the article titles policy (here WP:CONCISE and WP:COMMONNAME.) (t · c) buidhe 23:20, 10 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. No evidence that proposed title is most common name. Oppose by User:Born2cycle/Concision razor. —В²C 20:53, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
