Although this page seems to be written like an advertisement it is accurate and factual 69.118.180.120 08:51, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have edited the article to include the former name and add an academic and licensing section. Hopefully I can continue to improve the article to incluse degree concentrations. Some programs like the Vet Tech program is accredited by the AVMA. Will add this if all are in agreement.Winking Willie 13:46, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've tried to clean up the article to make it appear less like advertising.
Would the editor who tagged it as advert, please remove the tag. Taylor W. 14:31, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
In the future, feel free to remove the tag yourself once you feel the issue has been addressed. Anyway, this is much better. It does, however, need more independent sources to verify information. Please see WP:RS, WP:V and, of course, WP:NPOV. Try to find newspaper or magazine articles or other print sources not published by the college and add some of that information. Also consider looking at other college articles on Wikipedia to see what your missing to expand this page beyond a stub. Best of luck. --Midnightdreary 14:49, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
I added to the academics section the reference, ACPE Arizona Career and College Guide which shows Penn Foster College listed as an Arizona college. Taylor W. 01:53, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Added the WTVR News source which shows the school's history. Taylor W. 19:59, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
I removed the nonexistent wikipedia article link for Penn Foster Career School.Taylor W. 15:06, 23 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

source edit

FYI: http://wtvr.com/Global/story.asp?S=6899032 has some interesting information about the school, but does not completely agree with the current article on some points.--Orlady 05:05, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

National vs. regional accreditation edit

I removed some text about the differences between national and regional accreditation. The topic was educational accreditation in general, not Penn Foster College. To the extent that the content is appropriate for Wikipedia, people can find it in articles such as educational accreditation and regional accreditation. However, some of the content is not appropriate for Wikipedia, as it was advice (one of the things that Wikipedia is not) and/or was sourced to non-WP:RS sources. --Orlady (talk) 16:29, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
