I took my work that I was doing on the Oregon Steam Navigation company at Steamboats of the Columbia River and moved it over here because my article was getting too long and this topic needed more detailed treatment. There's no mention of the 1872 Northern Pacific acquisition. This seems to me like a fairly major oversight. I would do this edit myself if I knew more about the subject; if anyone else has knowledge & references regarding this I would ask that they please do it instead.
