Nicole (German singer)Nicole Hohloch — 1) see discussion at Lena Meyer-Landrut reason 2) a title without brackets is always better to search than a title with brackets. --Melly42 (talk) 10:08, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

  • Support move Even Beyoncé Knowles wasn't able to be moved to Beyoncé. If her first name is not such a worldwide household name that it needs a descriptor anyway, then we should have her surname. StAnselm (talk) 08:43, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
  • But Cher is under Cher; it is a question of what she is overwhelmingly called by those who know who she is. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 00:47, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Not just that, of course - there is no other notable person known as Cher, but lots of people are called Nicole, including a number of singers (such as Nicole Wray) known simply by that name. Once the "What are they known by most often?" question has been answered, we still have to ask, "Is there anybody else known by that name?" That's not the case with Cher, but it is the case with "Nicole". StAnselm (talk) 01:16, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
