Greek influence

The article states that Nestor "...disliked Greek influence in Kiev", with the word "Greek" linked to Medieval Greek. I wonder about this. Did he really dislike the influence of the Greek language, or did he dislike the influence of the Byzantine court? MishaPan (talk)

Fourth paragraph, fifth line: "a nobleman ninety years of age"

The above-mentioned statement seems to be unclear to me. Was the nobleman ninety years of age when he died or during some other time? 98.17.118.221 (talk) 21:20, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

Use of circular sources

I've removed the paragraph, "Historian Sergey Solovyov remarked that Nestor cannot be called the earliest Russian chronicler, but he is the first writer who offered a national perspective in his history, the others being merely local writers. The language of his work, as shown in the earliest manuscripts just mentioned, is Palaeo-Slavonic with many examples of Russianism." from the text as being circular.
