Is she a Scientologist?

The part of the 'Personal life' section about Tom Cruise would suggest she is a Scientologist herself, and should be placed in Category:American Scientologists. But does anyone have a source where she specifically identifies herself as such? If it's only attributed to third-party sources, we can't add it. Generally she looks to be tight-lipped about the matter, but it looks pretty firm that she was one but is no longer. Although I was hesitant adding Category:Former Scientologists as she still could be an Independent Scientologist.--T. Anthony (talk) 03:25, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

Before Nazanin Boniadi was affiliated with Amnesty International USA, when she was still a Scientologist, she was an activist for Artists for Human Rights, an organization founded by Anne Archer, a long time member of the Church of Scientology. User Tractor21: There is no specific statement by Boniadi in the New York Post article mentioned above about about having been a Scientologist or leaving. The publication is not a reliable news source. Everything on this subject seems to be from third party sources. Until she speaks on the subject it is unconformable either way. User Exhausted200: People may support organizations without knowing their background. This also doesn't confirm she is or was a Scientologist. I would greatly appreciate if Tractor21 would stop deleting and/or altering my posts here. I find this behavior bizarre and leading to more questions about Tractor21 and her/his edits more than ever. In response to user Exhausted200: Please follow WP:BLP regarding tone, neutrality and sourcing. Your edits to date have included personal opinions and unverifiable inferences such as stating that Boniadi was "mentored by Ann Archer" or suggesting that her association with Artists for Human Rights makes her a Scientologist (past or present). This violates Wikipedia guidelines. Wikipedia is meant to be an encyclopedia, not an op-ed. Some of the information you added is not available on public domain which raises questions regarding its accuracy and sourcing. I have not deleted information you have added that can be easily verified. For example, I did not find any references on the public domain that confirmed Boniadi was named a "spokesperson" for Artists for Human Rights, however, I found other information which suggests she was associated with them in the past, so I changed the word "spokesperson" to "activist" for Artists for Human Rights and left that information on the page. Also, per WP:BLP "Biographies of living persons ("BLP"s) must be written conservatively and with regard for the subject's privacy. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a tabloid." Iranian actress or Iranian-born British-American actress?

The beginning of the article implies that she is an actress in Iran without ties to Britain or the U.S. Since she resides in the U.S. and is an actress in the U.S., wouldn't be more accurate to state that she is Iranian born but a British-American actress? I think it should definitely be changed from "Iranian actress" because of the reasons you mentioned. "Iranian-born British-American actress" seems right because she grew up in the UK and lives in the US. --Liquidmetalrob (talk) 00:12, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
