I am looking for the "Mrs. Miller" who was a perennial audience member at many TV shows recorded in Hollywood, mainly CBS Television City and the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. This is NOT the same Mrs. Miller who was a bad recording artist, she was just a little old lady that was so ubiquitous that she would be acknowledged from the stage by the likes of Carol Burnett, Johnny Carson, etc. Please email me if there are any references on the web. Yes it is. I believe either the Pomona College article or the Skip Heller article includes info on that aspect of her recordings. It is said she used to put ice cubes in her mouth to improve the quality of her whistling - or something to that effect.
