Day Before, Not Day of edit

Changed the article to actually say scetch of man her mom saw the day before, from the day of her dissapearance. Since that's the truth, this link ( http://www.cyberpages.com/minidb?program=children&year=2000&month=9&pos=20 ) Has the actual wanted flyer given out by the Massachusetts State Police, that clearly says the day before; 26 June 2000, not day of 27th.

Maybe that guy was invovled, and was stalking the place out the day before... or, he wasn't and her mom is just desperate (which would be understandable)68.0.151.224 (talk) 01:45, 8 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

News blooper edit

I'm going to assume that there is good reason why the Eyewitness News "hamster" blooper isn't referenced here. (For those not aware, in January 2009 upon the identification of a potential suspect, a news broadcast accidentally showed a photo of a hamster holding a clapperboard instead of a picture of the suspect. It's been the source of great humour, but one can imagine this is seen as distasteful to some given the circumstance). I actually just located the origin of the photo - it is a publicity photo from the old UK/Canadian children's series Tales of the Riverbank, aka Hammy Hamster. There's a book called True North by Peter Kenter, the image is reprinted and is credited as being from the TV show. 68.146.52.234 (talk) 21:57, 16 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

"Death vs. Murder" edit

This article is titled as "death of" when this case is commonly referred to as a murder. Police are also investigating the case as such. I understand the fact the article is titled as "death of," as only partial remains were located and the cause of Molly's death is stated by some sources to be undetermined. Before I start a "requested move" discussion, I'm hoping I could get some feedback. Thanks!--GouramiWatcherTalk 20:33, 4 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Until there is some actual evidence of how death occurred, Wikipedia does not record speculation, no matter how often it is "commonly referred to". Upon what do you base your assertion that "Police are also investigating the case as [murder]"? Blurryman (talk) 17:29, 5 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
User:RTSthestardust moved this article from "Death" to "Killing" two years ago. I am honestly unsure if that was a good move as while her death is most likely a murder, there is still definitive proof it was. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:7000:26F0:74B0:A00D:B278:3E1E:C76B (talk) 13:04, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
