Confusion regarding date of birth

The Bengali version of the article mentions the birth date to be February 11 1989 (which is probably correct), putting her age at 27, as of January 2017. So I am making a change. Anyone who disagrees can re-edit, citing proper sources. TheGoodIndian (talk) 07:30, 24 January 2017 (UTC)

Year of Birth confusions

If we consider her birth day and month to be correct, ie. 11 February as per this source, then according to this source, her year of birth will be 1989 but according to this source (archived here) will be 1990. I've added both years in the infobox similar to articles like Disha Patani and Anas Rashid. Neogi007 has uploaded this image thrice on Commons (once 16 May as c:File:Mimi Chakraborty .jpg and twice on 21 May as c:File:Mimi Chakraborty.jpg)--the "original" and recreations have all been deleted as copyvios taken from the subject's social media ([1] and [2]).

Neogi007 purports to have permission from the subject actress; as has already been explained, however, such permission is not adequate as copyright is held by the author (e.g., photographer) of a work, not the mere subject. The image is clearly watermarked Somath Roy, who is the only person who may license the image. Alternatively, the subject would hold copyright, and thus ability to freely license the work, iff transferred through a formal written conveyance.

Tellingly, only after being told that (16:08, 21 May 2020), did this Flickr account emerge and was this request made. (16:19, 21 May 2020). Indeed, note the image is the sole member of the Flickrsteam (see 21. May image upload date at Flickr--well after appearances on the aforementioned social media) and that the Flickr account's name is "Jayita Neogi" (compare to Neogi007), not, of course, Somnath Roy. This is called licence laundering and at this point appears a deliberate attempt to misrepresent the license/permission. Эlcobbola _talk 20:00, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi @Neogi007: I haven't changed the article's main picture, because there appear to be no other pictures to change it to - all pictures on Wikipedia should be uploaded with a licence such as a Creative Commons one, and there are no other such pictures available, see c:Category:Mimi Chakraborty. If you want to upload a picture, that either you own the copyright to, or is available under such a free licence, please see this page on how to do so. Also, the article already lists Chakraborty's occupation as a singer, and already mentions several of those notable works you requested.
