Cashbox Number Ones

There was no official chart in the US. Cashbox was an alternative to Billboard and was more sales based. Material Girl, Cherish and Express Yourself were all Number One in this chart. (Coachtripfan (talk) 11:30, 22 April 2016 (UTC))

Billboard is/was the official industry chart when Madonna started charting. Billboard is used across all her articles, not Cashbox. —IB ^{[ Poke ]} 12:40, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

There was NO OFFICIAL chart when Madonna started charting in the 1980s (unlike say in the UK). Billboard may have been better known but no official chart. It is of course different now when rivals have gone and Nielson Soundscan compiles the charts for Billbaord. @Tbhotch: I tried to do something like in Kylie Minogue singles discography, there also in section for 2020s singles she got other charts than at the rest of article. infsai (dyskusja) 17:06, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
