Plan to merge with Live Nation Entertainment edit

Please let me know if anyone has a good argument for keeping these as separate pages; otherwise I plan to merge these articles. Knifegames (talk) 20:06, 29 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Knifegames the argument you can see for yourself in the infobox.
Live Nation Entertainment is the parent of Live Nation (events promoter), just like how...
Warner Bros. Discovery International is the parent of Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA.
It's like saying a mother and daughter are the same person, because they look alike and have similar names.
Why am I here? I've just started trying to work out whether Apollo Cinemas and Apollo Leisure are or were the same thing, and on page 1 of Google, I stumbled across a UK Government document from the 15th of March 2005 which says:
"Clear Channel Entertainment (formerly Apollo Leisure and SFX) is the largest theatre operator in the UK and the biggest producer and promoter of live entertainment product in Europe. CCE (UK) is headquartered in London, UK operations are split into four Divisions"
So now I'm wondering why this company claims to be American, and doesn't even mention the UK, when it at least started in the UK. There's also limited companies like Apollo Leisure (UK) Limited and Apollo Leisure Group Limited both of which are or were involved in running theatres, cinemas, bingo halls, concert halls etc, just like the Apollo Leisure and SFX (so are most likely the same company) which was owned by Clear Channel Entertainment which now redirects here.
The same goes for the former parent company Clear channel communications, which now redirects to IHeartMedia, and the current parent company Live Nation Entertainment, all of which claim to be American.
